Beautiful and quiet property, close to downtown Jaco without being too close. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. Resort pets were an added plus for our family. Breakfast was good.
Hot tub water was not hot. Restaurant and bar were closed at night. Showers were either hot or cold and alternated frequently while showering. Breakfast staff did not interact with guests.
It was really nice staying back in the jungle and away from the downtown. The room was huge. They also take care of a bunch of cats here on the property, which I loved! They were so friendly and would follow us around and hang out. I got so many cat snuggles! The staff here was super friendly and welcoming. They work very hard to maintain the grounds, which are beautiful. We were here on both weekdays and the weekend. The weekdays weren’t very crowded so they made our breakfast fresh for us, which was delicious. On the weekend they had it buffet style. There wasn’t a whole lot to choose from, but everything tasted very fresh. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The lights in the room were very dim. Personally, I prefer a little more brightness in a room.
Because the hotel is set back in the jungle, you have to deal with jungle things. That includes plant matter falling on your roof throughout the day and night. After living in Hawaii, we know that this is typical. For people who are not used to it, it could be disruptive. If you have PTSD or this could be a trigger, you may want to talk to them ahead of time and make sure you are in a room that does not have a roof under trees.
In the middle of the vegetation, beautiful! Huge room, nice pool area.
Breakfast was very basic, few options (rice, beans, eggs, tortillas, bread, fruits, juice, eggs)
We enjoyed the pool and our moonlit swim. It is a gated compound with very lush grounds.
The grounds were a little overgrown and could use more pruning. Pathways had plants hanging into them.
The staff were friendly
It is a really old property which looks really run down. It's almost like it used to be a 4 star hotel but now would hardly be 3 star
Clean and lovely setting.
Restaurant was a bit dark and less welcoming
great pool, very big and comfortable rooms, location in the heart of the jungle , staff was nice and helpful
the poorest breakfast I have ever had, large noises of falling things from the trees to the rooms roofs during all day and night. we have changed our room but still the problem stayed.
We loved the large rooms and the gorgeous grounds. The swimming pool was clean and relaxing. We had a wonderful 2 nights here.
Such a lovely property with gorgeous landscapes. I loved the view from my room and walking through the grounds. There are multiple buildings with different types of accommodations. Mine was very basic, with a large bedroom and bathroom. Although it was not necessarily an easy walk to the beach, Jaco Beach and the major tourist area was not too far from the hotel. I was also able to drive to multiple other beautiful beaches in the area from this location. Breakfast was minimal, but filling, and the pool was a good size. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and provided suggestions of ways to make my stay even better by doing excursions in the area.
I really enjoyed my stay, even though the accommodations were a bit older than some of the others in the area. My only other disappointment was that the jacuzzi was not hot water, but the pool area was a great respite.
Great to relax by the lovely pool, beds were very good and nice big clean rooms. No evening restaurant or bar whilst we were there though so had to go into town in the evening to eat.
The landscape was beautiful! The pool is big and clean. Feels far from Jaco but it's very convenient and only a few minute easy drive. The yoga studio was a nice surprise. We had a great stay.
Check in and check out by Jordan was excellent
The hotel backs onto the jungle and, as a result, it was possible to see a whole host of animals and birds whilst sitting by the pool!
There is room for improvement with the quality of the breakfast.
Great location in the jungle but close to town. Well kept grounds and fantastic breakfast!!
