Everything was amazing!
- Lovely views from the rooms over the lake
- Impressive modern architecture with unique stilted cabins
- Spacious, clean, and well-designed rooms with a cozy Scandinavian feel
- Breakfast: limited choice, but something for every taste and every item fresh and delicious
- Friendly, helpful staff who make you feel welcome
- The surroundings are largely agricultural/industrial, lacking scenic charm and offering no pleasant walking routes
- No nearby dining options, a car is essential to reach restaurants in Voss
- in contrast to the cozy and warm lower floor of the room, the upper floor was rather bare, with not even a side table
Excellent hotel with amazing staff
High quality and friendly
View was nice of a pretty lake. Cabin was as pictured, modern and cool, just smaller. Staff mostly friendly, especially at restaurant/bar.
Guests should know that the cabins are quite small compared to how they look online. Also be aware of the narrow-ish stairs to most cabins (with luggage it's not great). The giant beautiful windows were dirty and condensation made it hard to see out of them in the morning, which is one of the things we were looking forward to enjoying from our bed. I was hoping to have a nice morning walk/hike, but it is in a kind of neighborhood setting, so walking around feels a bit like you are invading the neighbors' space. Its not as rural and remote as it seems online. The buffet breakfast was decent but limited. There was a waffle maker, but it was serve yourself and it wasn't plugged in. Weird. It's fancy, cool vibe camping, but nothing luxury if that's what you're after. Value was not there for us, as it was expensive for Norway accommodations.

Located right on the lake with beautiful views and just a 5 min drive from Voss amenities, Elva was perfect.
All staff were lovely, the breakfast and dinner were great and the jacuzzi/sauna/lake swimming topped it all off :)

Absolutely exceptional. Everything was amazing. Recommend doing the sauna and fjord plunge. Food is beyond amazing.

Absolutely loved our stay! The sauna and hot tub were amazing — so relaxing and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel had a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful stay!
