A great few days in Cape Town. Allen was an easy and charming host, with helpful tourist tips.
Pros:

The cooked breakfasts were indeed special with some excellent Ottolenghi elements included.

Excellent period accommodation in Cape Town
Pros:

We stayed for 7 nights & loved the hotel & Cape Town; will definitely be back! The staff, especially Lino & Fatima were totally excellent, making sure we were ok & looked after every day. Daily breakfast was amazing!

Cons:

Period accommodation includes stairs!

Quirky Comfy Fabulousness!
Pros:

The whole place! It's like staying in someone's perfect cosy home. The breakfast is the most delicious I've ever had in a hotel, prepared & cooked with love! The bedrooms are so unique. The bed was so comfy, decor amazing.. little things like shower gel in glass bottles, blankets, crocheted-covered hangers, drinking water in a glass bottle.
I loved it all.

Cons:

That I wasn't staying longer.

Pros:

Wonderful place to stay in Cape Town. The room has been so beautifully decorated in a vintage style. The breakfast was divine and the staff very friendly.

Location is good. Decoration is interesting. Food is good.

Cons:

Though parking is advertised- it’s on street parking which would have been good to know prior to booking. It’s not a quiet hotel -noise carries, stairs and floor boards creak.

Wonderful place to stay in Cape Town
Pros:

The property was beautiful. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They helped with our bags, accommodated our dietary restrictions, and offered a late checkout. Breakfast was delicious! Very good value as well. I would come back in the future and recommend to friends visiting Cape Town.

You'll not regret booking this gem
Pros:

A home away from home. Just the warmest team, amazing breakfast and eclectic interiors.
By the time you leave, you'll want to bring Russel's breakfast and lemon curd recipes with you, some of the driver Lino's young wisdom and Fatima's warm smiles and jokes. I will definitely come back.

Pros:

Decor was stunning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and very very generous portion wise! Location was great, walkable during the day to v&a waterfront and ubers were easy to get to further afield places/at night.

Russel et Fatima était super sympa. Le petit déjeuner préparé par Russel était excellent et différent tous les matins.
Pros:

Le petit déjeuner était incroyable avec une décoration de la chambre et de l’hotel en lui même très sympa.

Cons:

L’insonorisation, l’on entend fort les voisins ou personnes qui marchent dans l’établissement. Le manque de serviettes pour les mains. Porte savon dans la douche est inexistant. La propreté en général était un peu à revoir.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. Although I was only there for one day, I really wish I could have stayed longer. The owner, Rassel, was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
The atmosphere throughout the hotel was cozy and inviting.

Breakfast was absolutely spectacular, with great quality and attention to detail. On top of that, the artistic décor around the house was stunning and gave the place a unique charm that made the stay even more memorable.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed place to stay.
