What’s is not to like. Russell and his team are unbelievable hosts with services levels world class.
The super star here is the Breakfast. Without any doubt this has to be the most amazing breakfast we have had and alone a reason we will return.

Beautifully styled colonial little space, a charming oasis !

Tout était parfait. L’ambiance et la décoration pleine de charme, avec un vrai souci du détail. Le petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Le personnel disponible et gentil. Des petites attentions dans tous les coins.

Это самый прекрасный отель, в котором мы были! Очень любим такую эстетику. Весь интерьер состоит из винтажных и старинных вещей, тут в предметах правда есть жизнь, не то, что в остальных бездушных отелях с белыми стенами. Все номера невероятно аутентичные и красивые. Тут чувствуется спокойствие и тепло. Очень заботливый, приветливый, добрый персонал и хозяин отеля.

Еще тут очень вкусные, красивые завтраки. Они большие, состоят из нескольких порций. Мы наелись на пол дня.

Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Boutiquehotel mit einzigartigem Charme. Sehr viel Liebe im Detail. Sehr gute Lage, ca. 15 min zu Fuß bis zur Waterfront. Der Besitzer Russel ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er zaubert ein einzigartiges Frühstück. Wir werden uns bestimmt wiedersehen!

Very welcoming staff and fabulous hospitality. Stayed in two different rooms and both were very charming (though I like the solo room a bit more). Breakfast was also very tasty.

Das Frühstück

Perfect location close to everything, absolutely delicious breakfast, charming property. Hosts were so friendly and helpful - they had great recommendations for everything. They also arranged our airport pickup with their driver.

This hotel is an old victorian house in the heart of Cape Town. I stayed here three nights and I became attached to its charm more and more every day. My room was small but all in pink (I love pink!) and made me feel at home. I could relax in the lounge downstairs listening to jazz music and the cookies they baked every day. There was tea/coffee service at the second floor free 24/7. Russell prepared a beautiful breakfast with much care. Different varieties day by day, I would never doubt to come back to this place next time I am in Cape Town.

Die Lage war hervorragend, die Zimmer waren ruhig und sauber, das Personal und besonders die Besitzer Russell und Ellen waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend !

Lovely quirky hotel. Food was fantastic, all homemade.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Gut gelegen & mit viel charm

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Hotel Lola! Alle Mitarbeitenden waren unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war wie aus einem Szene-Restaurant und jeden Tag mit Liebe vom Inhaber Russell und seinem Team zubereitet. Wir haben uns vollkommen sicher und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Waterfront, ein Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants waren fußläufig zu erreichen und das sogar nachts, ohne beklemmendes Gefühl. Wir würden jedem das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen! Thank you for everything ❤️

Absolutely wonderful bed & breakfast -- The care and attention given to the smallest detail from arrival to departure is appreciated. Allen and his crew did an a excellent job and I'm going to miss this charming place (and the Michelin-tier breakfasts!!).
