Amazing hotel with a great view but recommended to people traveling with cars.
Pros:

Extremely friendly staff and a spectacular view of Fuji. The breakfast was delicious and the onsen was very nice. Our room was spacious and always perfectly cleaned!

Cons:

I really loved the hotel but it’s honestly very remote with only a few buses running throughout the day so it was quite difficult to navigate. You have to walk quite a bit to reach the restaurants in the area and many of them have off days. The last bus is also quite early so getting back from dinner can be a challenge.

It would have been nice to get more detailed info on the shuttle connecting the hotel with Gotemba station beforehand, especially, because there aren’t any on Mondays which is when we arrived. From the description, it sounded like there are shuttles every day throughout the whole day.

I would recommend staying there if you have your own car. Otherwise you end up with quite a bit of additional expenses when taking taxis.

Fantastic view of Mt Fuji
Pros:

We stayed in the Japanese style room with onsen and Fuji view. It was a beautiful, huge set of rooms with a fantastic view. The lady who checked us in was really helpful and made our futon beds up for us while we went to dinner. The hot spring bath was amazing!
We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and breakfast (both charged extra but worth it). There is a shuttle bus available to the hotel from the train station but we used taxis which were not expensive.

Cons:

Nothing.

We could see the Mount Fujidirectly from my room it was a good stay

Unbelievable views, rooms and onsen
Pros:

Incredible view from the property even when it was cloudy. Faculties were 10/10, everything done to an amazing standard. Staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the room with the private onsen and for the time we were there it felt like we were living in luxury
