The view and the bed and the spaciousness

Cons:

There was a lot of dust on the floors and in window tracks. A lot of chipped paint and wooden bits falling off the bathroom door. The room was too hot constantly and I couldn't change the temperature

Pros:

窓からの富士山の眺めが最高すぎます

Cons:

広い部屋だったので仕方がない部分があるかもしれませんが…、室内にあるコーヒーメーカーの水タンクの中に髪の毛が入っていました。
逆にそれ以外は何の不満もないです。

Amazing hotel with a great view but recommended to people traveling with cars.
Pros:

Extremely friendly staff and a spectacular view of Fuji. The breakfast was delicious and the onsen was very nice. Our room was spacious and always perfectly cleaned!

Cons:

I really loved the hotel but it’s honestly very remote with only a few buses running throughout the day so it was quite difficult to navigate. You have to walk quite a bit to reach the restaurants in the area and many of them have off days. The last bus is also quite early so getting back from dinner can be a challenge.

It would have been nice to get more detailed info on the shuttle connecting the hotel with Gotemba station beforehand, especially, because there aren’t any on Mondays which is when we arrived. From the description, it sounded like there are shuttles every day throughout the whole day.

I would recommend staying there if you have your own car. Otherwise you end up with quite a bit of additional expenses when taking taxis.
