We are huge dog fans here and selected rooms are dog friendly. Please contact us directly if you wish to bring your dog with you. A £10 per dog, per night charge will be added to your bill for additional cleaning of the room. For the comfort of our guests, please note we only accept quiet and very well-behaved dogs - should your dog show signs of aggression or is uncomfortable around other dogs or people, please do not bring them.

Good food and very comfortable in a wonderful building.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good with excellent service.
The location was ideal for us and parking was perfect.

Cons:

When arriving for dinner we were waiting with others for an uncomfortable time. We had to wait while an issue with a couple’s reservation was being resolved. No apology was forthcoming, which is the reason for reporting this.

Would definitely stay again
Pros:

Very welcoming staff Vicky the receptionist was extremely helpful.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere in the hotel and beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms.
Food in restaurant was delicious and very good cocktails in the bar.
Great location for walking and a swim in Hathersage pool.

Cons:

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like !

Good, if there something on menu you to change that wasn't a problem.

Cons:

Everything was fine except they hadn't got any record of my evening meal table booking, I was told all was OK for the second night and it wasn't I had 3 waitresses trying to me a table, I had pre-booked our table and showed them my booking confirmation which was on my phone, didn't get any expenation re my table booking, this was only thing that upset me and not sure if we come back again, and this was our second visit.
