Nice village location and received an excellent welcome from the manager. The room was so-so (the bathroom was much bigger than the bedroom) and contrary to what was advertised there was no view. They did look after my bike for me which is a big plus
At dinner, I felt ignored by certain serving staff and in all honesty my choice of chicken turned out not to be a great idea as it was too tough.
A tremendous spot in a beautiful small town. A great selection of local beers and a pretty decent dinner as well.
Could probably use a refresh on the interior.

The bed was terrible and unfortunately had no sleep due to this . The shower pump was intermittent.
food good. staff very helpful and friendly. accommodation good although floor not level (very old building). location good and quiet. and we were visited by a male peacock outside our window!

Very clean, decent size room and breakfast is also included. Nice breakfast with local Cumberland sausage from local butchers.
Great friendly staff. It was nice to have a quiet pint and then go upstairs and sleep soundly in a quiet neighbourhood. The bathroom facilities all modern and very clean. Breakfast was one of the better ones I've had on this trip.

Lovely food and a great selection on the menu
We were competing on the Roger Albert Clark rally and as we had to leave too early to have breakfast on the first two days bacon sandwiches were made for our party of eight to take with us.
On our final evening when were celebrating finishing the event we had an excellent meal and staff stayed late to serve us.
Helpful, great location, nice people and great breakfast. Highly recommend
