Amazing choice and view and a short few steps down to the beach. 130 steps up to the street which was great exercise! Everything you want, restaurants cafes etc right at the top of the steps! Very comfortable beds! Bathroom right outside our room shared with another room.
It was a bit untidy on the entryway.
Waking up to the view was everything!
The walk back home after a night felt a little daunting.

In the heart of Uluwatu but hidden away from the hustle and bustle..... access to the beach to surf,swim or just chill and watch the waves, humans and dogs and monkeys playing.... surf school/board hire/bike hire and cafe available to us.... and sunrise and sunsets everyday.....
Staff super friendly and helpful. All needs catered to and comfortable and cozy faciliities.
There are quite a few stairs to navigate but in my opinion worth it.... staff will help with luggage for reasonable fee.

Las escaleras hasta llegar a la playa Thomas Beach, donde esta el Homestay son bastante cansadoras😅 mejor llegar con mochila.
Pero vale la pena y es posible hacerlo. No tan grave.

This is an absolute gem. Would definitely come back again. Location is beautiful, i would recommend to book 2 nights so you can chill and relax at thomas beach.

The location is INCREDIBLE. Ari and her family are so kind, welcoming, and helpful.
As others have mentioned, the stairs are serious. In my opinion, the stay right on Thomas Beach is worth it.
Otrolig plats mitt på stranden på en liten höjd. Bodde högst upp. Helt magnifik utsikt. Varje våningsplan har två rum som delar på en terass/balkong. Jag saknade rumsgranne och hade därför hela terassen för mig själv. Sagolikt. Perfekt för den som gillar att surfa, eller vill lära sig.
Bökigt att ta sig till och från hotellet med dess långa trappa (som hotellet dock förvarnar om). Hotellet erbjuder inte mycket servicemöjligheter. Maten var sisådär, köket/baren ohygienisk. Blev magsjuk efter min vistelse (åt bara på detta ställe och ett annat, 50/50 vem som felade). Men värst av allt, hundar som skäller hela nätterna. De har massor av hundar, säkert bra skydd mot de tjuvaktiga apgängen. Men fy fan att försöka sova till...

De kamers waren erg stoffig, schimmel en stonken !!
Badkamerraam had geen gordijn of privacy scherm !!
Geen mini keuken met waterkoker of koffiemachine!!
Over het algemeen was het ondermaats en verre van basic !!!
It’s very hard to rate this place. I gave it an 8 because of the location and the atmosphere. However, if it were located anywhere else, it would probably get a poor 5. If someone values living right on the beach and doesn’t mind the lack of running water in a tap, a level of cleanliness that leaves a lot to be desired, and having to climb many stairs every time they want to go anywhere, then I would recommend it.
