Mooie lodge in mooi groen klein park.
Pros:

Super mooi gelegen in afgesloten parkje waar ook zebra’s, Nyala, duikers en heel veel vogels zijn. Leuk huisje dat goed verzorgd en netjes is. We hadden voor ons vieren een geschakeld huisje met twee identieke kamers met badkamer en buitenkeuken.

Bij de entree van het parkje lag een restaurant waar je erg lekker kon eten.

Cons:

Er was alleen een buitenkeuken. Bij slecht weer is dat niet handig.
Er was klein zwembad maar dat lag vol met blad en was niet erg schoon. Zwemmen hebben we overgeslagen, wel met beentjes in het water.

Pros:

The peacefulness of being surrounded by nature and the various buck and animals roaming freely was an experience of a lifetime. The cottages are incredible and private and have everything you need. The communal house had the most wonderful views and had everything. Highly recommend a stay at Umfomothi Lodge!

No wifi on arrival.
Water from shower flooded the entire area.
No exterior lighting to rooms

Convenient position for a 1 night stopover.

Cons:

Avoid the interleading rooms if you want a good night's sleep. We had only a wooden door separating us from noisy neighbors who shouted, played music, and had a crying child until 02h00. Even after asking them to keep it down, the noise didn't stop."

Leuke tussenstop!
Pros:

In de mooie natuur, afgelegen en stil.
Ruime kamers, en leuk dat de 2 huisjes aan elkaar grensden, zodat we dichtbij de kinderen waren.

Cons:

Op de foto's staat een biljarttafel, (we waren een gezin met 3 jongens die uitkeken naar een partijtje pool). Helaas is dat deel wel aan herstellingen toe..

The only issue we had was parking. My partner and I battled to walk the distance to the room on the sand. Everyhting else was wonderful.

Pretty much everything. The unit was spotless and the outdoor kitchen/dining area is best in area. Our host couple were warm, welcoming and super attentive.

Braai area needs some lighting.
