Pros:

Great location for the palace, boat tours and ghats. Its positioning on the hill means you get some great views of the city from the roof. Very comfortable, attentive staff. I had been busy moving from city to city prior to my stay, so was ready to chill on the roof in the sun or by the pool a bit by the time I reached Udaipur - and it’s the perfect city for it.
If you’re into art, there’s a really lovely store tucked away over the bridge called Pacific Art Udaipur - local specialist artists who do incredibly delicate work at reasonable prices (hence being slightly away from the main tourist thoroughfare). I recommend checking it out. Lovely people, no pressure.

Cons:

It was exactly what I had booked. It is on the minimalist side and I usually go for a little more character, but it was comfortable and I slept like a dream.

Very comfortable , friendly staff, enjoyed the stay
Pros:

Every thing was very good. A very nice place to stay, close to Jagdishji Mandir and City Palace 👌

Cons:

Access to the Haveli is a little challenging since it is an uphill walk although they do provide auto transportation from the Haveli to Chandpol

An exceptional base for exploring the beautiful city of Udaipur
Pros:

I see that, in reviews, significant praise is attributed to this hotel. I can only say: it is, in my experience, fully deserved.
The room is spacious with good light and bathroom, fully functional WiFi and - possibly the most important! - exceptional cleanliness. The location is close to the centre, yet very peaceful. In addition to these luxuries, the hotel is stylishly decorated in a type of MCM that blends well with the local style.
But the most imortant thing is that the hotel has two genuinely friendly and competent receptionists! It makes such a difference to receive a warm welcome and I was even allowed an early check in. I would return with great pleasure and recommend without any hesitation.
The Madri Retreat has a sister hotel - i.e. the Madri Haveli - which has an onsite restaurant.

Cons:

Nothing worth mentioning.

Pros:

Excellent property with brilliant facilities, really nice rooms in a heritage building. Best part of our stay were the staff, who were incredibly kind and helpful. The nearby rooftop of the sister hotel is very nice for sunset and drinks. Highly recommend

Stay here!- worth the few extra dollars! ( I’m not a guide - just a satisfied tourist from USA)
Pros:

I have never been so thrilled with a hotel!!- A perfect oasis to escape to when the thrilling madness of the streets of Udaipur become a bit much. Every day was a new adventure, but coming back to relax in the cool small perfectly maintained pool was the gem in the crown ( I know I sound ridiculous but this hotel really hit the spot!)

Cons:

No complaints!( well, actually it was a wee bit tricky to find; you have to ask to go to chandpole parking if arriving by car; from there the tuk, tuk took us to madri haveli- where they redirected us to made retreat around the corner)

Pros:

Hôtel plein de charme, peu de chambres. Donc plutôt calme. Le petit déjeuner, à la carte, est très copieux. La piscine est bien agréable et rafraîchissante en fin de journée.
