Barely anything location the only positive
Staff rude and abrupt more interested in going home than doing there job we arrived at 8:15 on a late booking website clearly stated food served until 9pm was told abruptly I can do drinks nothing else said so I asked if I could order food i was told the kitchen was closed so I said we've just travelled from Cornwall webhad checked the website which stated food served until 9pm to which the bartender walked off to the kitchen then back out the kitchen through the restaurant area having not said anything to me then someone else appeared from kitchen who was friendly but stated I had 4 minutes to order food then moaning to another member of staff they were doing someone else's job and where were they the response was walking his dog all this before the room is even mentioned which was below average at best all in all the worst hotel experience I've ever had and will never return
Great location
Very friendly staff
Will stay again when in the area
Breakfast was good, room was good but think place needs a up date, floor boards needed to be replaced on stairs ,needs a re paint
Nothing except what ive put above, ive been here 3 times and enjoyed my stay
Pleasant check in staff.
Breakfast was OK. great value for money if you can overlook certain poor areas.
The entrance. Disgusting, overgrown in places, overfilled un emptied bin at main reception entrance to hotel, plus a rat bait trap adjoining the entrance. Cigarette ends, dirt, dirty sign, dirty windows, very dirty glass panels on doors, Same throughout the whole building/pub. - all glass so smeary, just needs someone spending half an hour a day going round entrance and outside to Clean and do a bit of weeding, and someone inside with some widow spray and a cloth. Really offputting - if I hadn't pre booked, I would never have Gone in or thought about staying.
The windows/doors/public toilets/paintwork in bar areas/door to the function room, just so filthgy with greasy hand marks. Sat looking across at the toaster at breakfast where I had a view of the back of it, filthy with hand marks. ALL toilets - both In our bedroom and in the bar, need bleaching to remove stain build up. So easily could be hugely improved. It is a shame.
Convenient stop off between Cornwall and Derbyshire. Great food choice and reasonable prices. Helpful staff.
Decor is a bit dated. Hot tap didn't work for a while. No sockets near the beds for overnight phone charging.
Staff helpful and kind.
Room didn't feel right. My baby didn't settle. So we left early.
clean frendly hotel perfect for night before an early flight.
all good

Location was good for Bristol Airport
Food options were very limited due to a broken grill, portions were small.
Location close to airport for us, cheap
There was lots of menu items out of stock, staff seemed stressed. Room was really basic and showing age. Carpets smelt funny. Bed was really firm to the point we were both aching by morning.
Location and breakfast were both good.
The room was terrible. The furniture was sticky and the whole room was outdated and run down. There were holes in the walls, stains up the walls and the bathroom was falling to bits, with grout even missing from the tiled floor. Not a great or comfortable experience.
The chambermaids were very young, pleasant and polite but obviously not well trained. Young man in restaurant at breakfast was polite and helpful but not the slightly older lady.
Room was dusty and tired. Was not refreshed on first morning. The bathroom toilet was not very clean - needed a good scrub. Lady in bar/restaurant on first morning was unfriendly and abrupt to the point of being rude, though I was polite to her.
Paid for room AND breakfast for two people for two nights on booking. On arrival when checking in was told we had room only and had to pay again, then at breakfast time was told we were not on the list so had to return to room to get the receipt to prove we had paid. In the end had paid for two full breakfasts for two and breakfast was poor. No orange juice, hot water for drinks was empty, no spoons for cereal (thought good choice), no marmalade, little choice of jam, fried eggs were hard. Overall disorganized and understaffed. We were even vacuumed around whilst there, breakfast did not start till 8am surely this should have been completed earlier. Also tables not very clean and sticky both at breakfast and dinner on the first night (we decided eat somewhere else the second night).
The staff and location were very good.
No air conditioning, and overpriced.
