Location ,food and staff were first class. Its a great place to stay to enjoy the area.
Pros:

The location was perfect for our trip which was working the Chatsworth Show. The Hotel has been refurbished since we last stayed there and the the Country Hide theme was perfectly in keeping with the concept if a little sombre maybe for some tastes. It was clean and our room was serviced as we requested each day. The food was good quality and we enjoyed the Fire and Feast menu on the the Thursday evening, it was innovative and offered an excellent selection of different hot meats with a plentiful side salad. The breakfast was first class on the days we had it. I would happily recommend staying there and plan to do so in the future.

Cons:

Whilst the concept and decor are completely in keeping with the theme, the milking stool style bedside ' tables whilst quaint were too low and too small. The chair provided was exactly the same as I sat on in junior school which was an awful long time ago, uncomfortable and not suited to sit and relax watching TV or reading ones book. There were simple hooks on the wall ,again in keeping with the concept, but totally unsuitable as a hanging space for a 5 night stay and a large drawer under the bed is no substitute for a small set of drawers for smaller more personal items of clothing. We were in room 14 so other rooms may vary. That said, if a guest was staying for a simple overnight then these little details would be of less importance. The automated check in system failed to recognise the name our booking was made in and similarly when we went to check out. I noticed several other guests had a similar issue but staff were on hand to sort it.

It was good.

There was little left on the menu that was available. This was a Sunday evening but we did expect to have something other than pizza.

Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I was in the area
Pros:

The room was very modern and clean and comfortable and felt very cosy with the decor. I would not hesitate to book again if needed to

Cons:

The building is confusing as the main entrance with the ‘check in’ sign isn’t actually the hotel entrance at all. It’s actually the building to the right of this sign, this could be a bit clearer. Other than that: no issues I loved it.

Gut für einen Zwischenstopp, alles da, was man braucht.
Pros:

Frühstück war für England super mit vielen frischen Sachen.
Bushaltestelle und Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel.

Cons:

Hotel liegt im Nirgendwo an einer Straße, unser Zimmer nach hinten raus war trotzdem ruhig.

Lovely and comfortable
Pros:

Loved the area. Was attending a wedding nearby. The breakfast was lovely and good selection.

Cons:

I didn't like the check in. (Self check in) I did not get on with it and had to find a staff member to check in instead.

Average - expensive for facilities offered.
Pros:

The location was as expected and room quiet, clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Disappointed i was unable to reserve a table for a late supper after a 6 hour journey.
Late reservation meant small plates was very poor - cold meat, soggy dough balls and over cooked prawns.
Breakfast the next morning was equally disappointing.

Great location and stay , staff where very nice
Pros:

Lovely location near Chatsworth and Chesterfield and walks on park . Room was nice and bed great , shower was a highlight as it was really nice .
Staff and restaurant next door is great

Cons:

Room was warm due to weather , difficult to cool as window opening was small as in most hotels but did come with fan to help
