New vs other accommodations around. Spacious room.
No restaurant but there are two close by that provide room service. Beach was all rocks, no sand.....
This place was amazing. Staff was very accommodating. Location was convenient. Short drive to Tunco. Beach access and views were stunning.
Not much at all.
Good hotel with perfect location,we had apartment with terrace.room was a big,modern,with zoning (kitchen with washing and dryer machines),rest zone,sleep zone).Several good restaurants walking distances,I liked Nan Tal. Pool was amazing ,nice music and minibar, they provided alcohol and snacks.Hotel does not provide food but they can deliver to your room in case you need it.

All around an exceptional stay starting with the professional and friendly staff ready for any questions and arrangements, to the new, modern, spacious, immaculately clean, and well equipped suites with huge balconies. Location 10/10 oceanfront on a point break with amazing ocean views, in between two hotels with steps away to top notch restaurants, but also walking distance to any restaurants in town or grocery stores. Lovely pool with a bar with excellent drinks, shakes, and smoothies, but they also make a variety of acai bowls for an easy breakfast or snack, as well as charcuterie boards on sign up. We arranged airport transport through them as well, they provided a punctual and comfortable ride, and they also arrange any local excursion you’d be interested in. The staff always responds promptly and efficiently, a well done hospitality. We couldn’t have made a better choice for our first time in El Salvador!
Awesome facilities including legit medical grade cold plunge and the hot tub is fantastic. Infinity pool is wonderful. Extremely relaxing property. Restaurant next door (nali?) is some of the best food I’ve had in El Salvador.
Recommend coffee and hot water heater with ethos to make coffee in AM
Service was amazing and since it rained a couple nights we were there, we decided to order food to our room. Ordering food from Nantal was very convenient and they bring everything straight to your tables inside our unit.
Some nights we wished to cook inside our unit. We wished the property provided us with basic cooking essentials such as cooking oil, seasonings (salt, pepper), etc.
I had an incredible stay at the Wave House! The staff were warm and helpful throughout my visit, and my room was absolutely lovely. Starting and ending each day by the pool, with its stunning view of the beach, was a highlight. Big shoutout to the bartenders at the mini bar—they were fantastic! There are two excellent restaurants right next door, plus several more bars, eateries, and mini markets within walking distance for convenient snacks. Highly recommend this spo

Lovely, clean, modern and relaxing. Love the rooftop view for sunset. The fact there was a small AC gym. The pool view is lovely and that its quiet but very fun and welcoming. We had a blast staying here for two nights. The restaurant next door is awesome. We almost stayed at that hotel but kinda glad we didn't since our hotel was like a little escape from that busier hotel with the popular restaurant. Can't wait to come back. Also loved all the tenants we met that owned a space there. Hope to have made long term friends and see them again when we come back to El Zonte!
For as nice and big of a facility this was the bathroom was quite small for what seemed like no reason haha. It also was the only mirror so multiple people getting ready is slightly challenging but not a big deal at all since we were there to relax.
A newly built property that gives you the amenities of an apartment, including a washer dryer and ability to cook. Of course we really didn't cook as there are excellent restaurants on either side of Wave House and in the small town of El Zonte. The staff was nice, especially by the pool. I highly recommend their cold agua de coco, which was the best in town. The pool is lovely and we spent most of our time there. It does close early (like the front desk) and I hope over time they extend the hours. I would definitely stay here again!
For the elderly or with accessibility issues, keep in mind you walk up and down a lot of stairs in this property as it is built on a cliff. Although we were 3 people, they didn't prepare the sofa bed and left us no sheets, blankets or pillowcases for it. It was late so the front desk was closed (after 7pm). The security guard helped us out but it wasn't until the next day where we could really fix things.
Private beach, great restaurant next door with the best breakfast, the apartment has all the amenities that your home would have for cooking and enjoying meals. We were able to enjoy our fur babies since the resort is very pet friendly. The pool bar has excellent drinks.
There was unexpected construction noise that disrupted our stay, however, Wave House’s management turned this experience around completely. After we voiced our concerns, they not only listened but took swift and meaningful action to make things right. It’s clear they value their guests and are dedicated to delivering the tranquil escape they promise. We’re truly grateful for how they handled the situation and would recommend Wave House to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway with a team that stands behind their service.
Water pressure in the showers are not so great.
Excellent spot. 10/10. I already want to go back. Definitely stay here! Great location, friendly and accommodating staff, nice amenities. The in-unit laundry is also a nice perk. We really enjoyed our stay at the Wave House. I almost don’t want people to know about it.
Location, staff, clean room with good AC and amenities. It is not overcrowded.
The only thing is that it may not be suitable for people with disabilities since it has a lot of steps due to the nature of the property.
