Pleasantly surprised.
Pros:

I was there for a military order of the Purple Heart Convention. The hotel was about a three-minute walking distance to the convention center, so I suggest if you're staying at the Riverfront Convention Center, that's the place to stay.

Pros:

Super fint hotel med flotte værelser, lækkert badeværelse og i det hele taget rent, pænt og stilfuldt. Centralt beliggende i New Bern, tæt på hyggelige gader, restauranter og butikker, samt ikke mindst Marina og havnepark. Fine privat parkeringspladser i forbindelse med hotellet. Kan anbefales.

Cons:

Alt var superfint, men der er ikke mulighed for morgenmad. Til gengæld er der flere alternativer i kort gåafstand.

Pros:

Great location. Quiet and giant spaces. Smelled lovely in the lobby. I had a migraine due to the excessive heat and this was the best case scenario for a place in that situation-- super clean, lovely bathroom, comfortably cool AC, ample bed for resting.

Cons:

Self-check in/no front desk. Would have liked to have a firmer pillow option.

Pros:

Absolutely stunning rooms and lobby. Decor is very high end and makes you feel fancy. Owner is very responsive to all needs and questions. Very satisfied 2 time customer.

Cons:

If I have to be nit picky and name a fault O would say that it is the shower. It is rather small and the shower head is large so it’s hard to get out of the water to wash hair, wash body, etc.

Excellent choice for a downtown New Bern experience!
Pros:

The original trim and wood work blended together flawlessly with the modern amenities! We felt as we were able to experience this historic home and town in a seamless fashion.

Cons:

Nothing off the top of my head.
