A restful stay
Pros:

Quiet comfortable modernist accommodation designed by the owners. Only a short walk to Brockley Station. Thoughtful touches and an interesting little collection of books
on London.

Cheap and cheerful
Pros:

The property was in a good location for us.

Cons:

The property was difficult to get into. It also didn’t have any carpet on the floor ( it was concrete) which made it feel cold. The bedroom door had a strange locking system which was difficult to work out without the hosts instructions.

It’s only 300 yards from the railway station and buses so we may book again.
Pros:

It was very quiet. Very roomy and good size bathroom. Extremely helpful host.

Cons:

A little difficult to find. The map on the booking confirmation was small, the illustration of the house obliterated the actual location. There were no chairs in the room. David offered to bring some in but it would have been nice if they were there. For us it wasn’t a big problem, we only showered when we arrived changed clothing and went out, went straight to bed when we returned.

Pros:

The location was perfect, ten minute walk from some excellent local amenities, but tucked away in a secluded mews. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Warm and super-clean, some interesting books to peruse if you have time!

Cons:

There really isn't anything to mention, that would be nitpicky.

Vicinanza della stazione, quartiere carino con pub, locali e un supermarket.

Cons:

La camera é stata rimediata al posto di una struttura garage. C'è l'ingresso allo stabile in comune e una porta scorrevole separa la stanza dal resto della casa. Non ho apprezzato molto la poca privacy, una delle due sere abbiamo sentito tutti gli schiamazzi dei ragazzi presenti nella casa di fianco..

Pros:

Host was incredible friendly and let us leave our bags in the room before official check in time. The room was priced at a good price point for London. Parking was easy in the laneway.

Cons:

They really need to install a proper lock on the door. Whilst there is a way to "lock" the door once you are inside, there is no way to do so if you go out and it feels a bit unsecured from the rest of the family living in the house. The lockable door into the house is stiff and hard to operate - could use a service. It also means the people living in the house need to slam it closed so that woke us up in the morning. The mattress/bed is very uncomfy and we rolled into the middle of it all night. The shower could use a shower curtain and the toilet could use a toilet seat. There is a bit of mould in the shower that could use some bleach. All easy fixes to make the place amazing.

such a lovely place to stay. thank you Laura and David, everything was perfect! great price and value, you’ll have everything you need. pictures do not show how cosy the apartment is. 100% recommend! p.s. good location, it will take you 30 min to get to the center by overground

Wonderful stay - we would highly recommend it!
Pros:

The room is located in a lovely and quiet residential area, that is in walking distance to local shops / restaurants and public transport. Lara and David are wonderful hosts and provided us with great tips for our stay.

Great location, the family was very nice and and they gave us a lot of info about the restaurant and amenities around the property.

Cons:

Just a tip, we would have preferred if there was a shower curtain and a small bin in the bathroom.

Great place to stay for the night, will be staying back when I visit.
Pros:

The room was lovely—spotlessly clean, with a nice bathroom and a very cozy atmosphere. The coffee selection was excellent as well.
