No air con ruined our experience
Pros:

Fabulous location, with great access to many beautiful areas the soca valley has to offer.
A short walk (29 mins) to Tolmin where you can find some nice restaurants, grocery shops, tourist info.
Nice breakfast.
Fairly priced drinks at the bar.
The pool is small but a nice bonus to return to after a days hike.
Rooms are clean.
The host makes evening meals if you ask. However there is no menu, or price stated. Our experience of this was nice, but stay not be for everyone.

Cons:

Room was smaller than expected.
Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and into the bedroom.
No tea and coffee facilities in room.
No fridge in room.
Thin and poor quality pillows.

Biggest issue was that we booked this hotel based on its description stating there was air con. Our bedroom (No2, king room) did NOT have any air con. We queried this on arrival and were told that only a couple of the bedrooms have air-conditioning, not all of them - despite what booking.com description says. This led to 4 very uncomfortable nights given the weather was over 30 degrees. It was like trying to sleep in an oven. Staff advised us to sleep with the balcony door open, with the outside shutters partially closed. We did this, which helped a tiny bit but caused a new issue with noise levels waking us multiple times throughout the night despite wearing our trusty earplugs, and mosquitos biting us throughout the night. The temperature in the room continued to be at 30 plus degrees regardless.
Overall, the hotel is in a beautiful location, the pool is a nice bonus, the breakfast is good and rooms are reasonably clean but the main reason for staying in a hotel is to get a comfortable and good nights sleep. Our experience was minimal sleep, in a very uncomfortable environment. Hiking on poor sleep day after day is not enjoyable. Sadly because of this, we would not return.

High price (€750 for 4 nights) for a 3 star hotel with limited facilities and our poor experience makes it hard to justify the value for money.

Great place with a great staff!
Pros:

Renata the owner of this hotel is very nice and along with her mother a fabulous cook! We checked in and were taken to our family room that had three bedrooms. The ac worked great. Since were were traveling without a car we were worried that this might be a little far from town but it wasn't. We walked to the gorge and it took us about an hour. Also right near the hotel is some wooded area and a beautiful hike to a waterfall. We have the most delicious breakfast and even better dinners every day; we stayed two nights. For lunch we walked to town to eat; it took maybe 20 minutes to walk to town. One day Renata saw us leaving and offered us a ride to town which we declined since the walk was short and through very lovely landscape. Renata and the entire staff run a great place!

Schöne Pension in recht ruhiger Lage
Pros:

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, Frühstück und Abendessen gut. Beim Abendessen mußten wir nicht das komplette Menü nehmen sondern konnten uns aussuchen, welche Gänge wir essen wollten.
Whirlpool

Cons:

Familienzimmer mit 5 Betten. Leider waren alle Matratzen durchgelegen, man spürte die Sprungfedern. Eine Austausch der Matratzen war auf Anfrage nicht machbar, so dass wir 3 nicht sehr angenehme Nächte verbachten.
Man bot uns den Wechsel im ein Doppelzimmer an, das allerdings sehr viel kleiner gewesen wäre, aber denselben Preis gehabt hätte und zudem zur Straße gelegen war :-(

Die Inhaberin und das Personal sind alle sehr nett. Die Lage ist toll. Das Abendessen muss man unbedingt probieren. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Die Matratzen in unserem Zimmer waren sehr hart.

Pros:

Ідеальне місце для усамітнення та відпочинку 🩷 Маленький затишний куточок в живописному місці. Не далеко від популярних туристичних місць. Дуже гостинні та приємні господарі та й весь персонал. Ми спали мов немовлята під спів пташок. Все дуже сподобалося. Дякую за відпочинок ☺️☺️☺️
