Disappointed
Pros:

I didn't have breakfast as this was not included

Cons:

I am disabled and the room was on the 2nd floor. The lift wasn't working. I paid for 3 nights and left after one night. I was visiting my husband who was in the golden jubilee and had to get another hotel to stay. Really disappointed with the hotel.

Room great, staff brilliant. Shame about the access.
Pros:

The room was great. Not long refurbished I would say. Had everything I needed. Carol went above and beyond to make my stay a good one.

Cons:

The stairs! I am a disabled crutch user and was totally dismayed to see that the entrance is up 1.5 flights of stairs. Then the room was up another floor.
Add to that once I had negotiated the stairs the door was locked and I had to go all the way to the pub on the front of the building to get my key, then climb all those stairs again to get into my room. Not a problem if you are able bodied! Make sure you check out all the photos as beer seems to take precedence over the one of the entrance! Also the lift is out of order and it didn’t say that on Booking.com

Clean comfortable and staff were realy nice
Pros:

Location was good staff, were friendly and extremely helpful, amenities in surrounding area were easily reached and very extensive for a non city center hotel.

Cons:

No dining available on premises but plenty choices within a short distance from hhotel
