Amazing homestay, the family are really nice and welcoming. We had some issues with our suitcase with the airline and they were able to help us. The room is really lovely and comfortable. The home cooked breakfast was really tasty and the host always offered us Sri Lankan tea which was really lovely. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Hosts were so kind and accommodating we couldn’t ask for anymore. Breakfast was lovely and the room was very clean. Well located to central Dambulla. Arranged a tuk tuk to visit Sigiriya and we walked to the cave temple about 1.3 miles away.
A beautiful stay in a beautiful home

Lovely retired couple running the place. Super clean and quiet as off the main drag. I couldn't eat all my breakfast so they insisted on packing it up for me to take away!

De prettige ontvangst (inclusief gratis thee), het matras en de airconditioning, de schone slaapkamer en badkamer, het overheerlijke en uitgebreide ontbijt en de ligging (kort bij de grote straat van centrum Dambulla maar wel een rustige locatie). Eigenlijk alles!

Beautiful house located a short walk from the main street. Quiet room, excellent air conditioning and excellent wifi. Good breakfast. Nice hosts.

La gentillesse des propriétaires, le calme du lieu et le repas extraordinaire qui nous a été servi. Une excellente adresse que nous conseillons vivement.

I had a great stay, the owners are soo welcoming and nice and prepared an amazing breakfast.
The room was exactly like shown in the pictures, only disadvantage is that there is nearly no daylight in the room. But the lovely terrace makes up for it. :)

Das Gastgeber-Pärchen war äusserst zuvorkommen und hat sich rundum nach unserem Wohlergehen erkundigt, Ausflüge bzw. Fahrer organisiert, uns Sri Lanka authentisch nähergebracht - unsere Tage in Dambulla zu einem Träumchen gemacht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt daher auch noch um eine Nacht verlängert, was kein Problem gewesen ist. Wir haben es sehr genossen und würden das Green View Homestay zu jeder Zeit weiterempfehlen!

Our favourite home stay in Sri Lanka so far. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming - with lots of cups of Sri Lankan tea and great recommendations on exploring Dambulla. They even took us to a spa near Sigiriya (also recommended) in their own time. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The homestay is located in a great part of Dambulla - close to the city but tucked away in a quiet spot. Look no further!

Was I adopted by a family in Sri Lanka for two days? It sure felt like it! Possibly the best hospitality I have ever experienced. The house was beautiful, the room spotless, and the breakfasts absolutely amazing. Wishing all the best to Sunil and his wife — I will never forget this stay!
