The city of Prairie du Chien dates from the mid-17th Century!
Pros:

Great, helpful staff who go above and beyond. The hotel has a big lobby area looking towards the Mississippi River where there are comfortable chairs & tables. It’s enjoyable to eat a picnic lunch there or a take-out meal.

ur stay was very enjoyable
Pros:

Breakfast and other food accommodations were excellent! Great coffee and homemade food items. Real fresh eggs. Actual china plates, bowls and cups with flatware and cloth napkins! Staff very professional and friendly.

Cons:

Air conditioning settings and fan to TV room were a bit difficult to figure out at first.

We enjoyed our stay & will definitely come back.
Pros:

The staff was friendly, rooms were clean, & they served an excellent breakfast where they fixed you home made omelets to your liking and French toast along with regular items on a continental breakfast. The best breakfast we have had at a hotel!

Cons:

They were having some construction on the road to the entrance of the hotel and surrounding area.

Perfect place to stay in Pairie Du Shein:)
Pros:

Everyone was so friendly! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were cookies and popcorn available as you checked in and at 7:00 there was ice cream. The breakfast was absolutely AMAZING!!

Cons:

The only bummer was the road construction but that had nothing to do with hotel.
