Not great check in experience and first impression. Receptionist was friendly but not very professional.
Bedding was clean but room was a little grubby. TV didn’t work. Shower was just a dribble.

Pros:

The staff were brilliant and lovely, especially the lady who worked evenings, she looked after the bar too, she got me a blanket when I asked, dog friendly too

Cons:

I was not too keen on breakfast because I'm vegetarian and only had the cereal, the chef needs some help too

Pros:

Breakfast was adequate but in the poor side. Cheap as possible and no need to be so. Orange juice was actually diluted orange squash

Clean, the rooms were small but adequate

Cons:

The walls were thin so noise travelled through.
Doors were not very secure. Only a flimsy yale lock. No additional security, especially for lone women travellers.
Breakfast was ok, the bread for the toast was still frozen, and the quality of the cooking was not great
