Character stay, quite good location, nice heritage vibe downstairs with brekkie provided.
Pros:

Character heritage building. Nice breakfast provided. Spacious room.

Cons:

Our room was in added wing, slightly unusual with corridor of glass so curtains pulled for privacy from corridor. No wifi available from room - codes given did not work.

Nice location but not suitable for me
Pros:

Architecture , old mansion

Cons:

Constant noise throughout the entire night (fan? heating system? Something else ?). The noise was coming from outside the room. I informed the staff, who admitted there was a constant noise, but the issue was not resolved. As a result, I had a very poor night’s sleep (2 days).

Vintage vibes
Pros:

Convenient location. Close to a sky bus stop. Easy walk to Salamanca Markets. Great continental breakfast included.
Loved the old world charm.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room was on the top floor so there were multiple sets of stairs to contend with. However I did receive help from a staff member to carry my suitcase up the stairs.

Disappointing for the cost. Great location
Pros:

Location was great, the entrance and building were lovely and the floor you enter in.
Bed was very comfortable

Cons:

Our room looked terrible. Nothing like the pictures. Was told it was an old building but this was not the case. I think the other rooms looked fine but this room is probably a last booking room. The shower screen broken off and not bothered to fix. The ceiling light just a bulb with cover broken off, room looked dirty. The beds were not the beds in any of the pictures I saw. It was a busy weekend and appeared we were charged the same for a room that should probably not be in use or needed maintenance.
Breakfast was so limited and was just pastries from Cole’s. Coffee was not included in the price.

Pros:

Central location, breakfast was nice, large space and staff was friendly.

Cons:

The family room needed serious maintenance, no door or screen in the shower, holes on the wall, pipes were super noisy. Soft mattresses. Room was in the basement.
