A great Hobart experience. Good value for money.
Pros:

Lovely charming old Hobart building, with more character than most standard (plain, beige) hotels! The Brekky was great; the staff were really lovely and helpful.

Cons:

My shower took a lo g time to heat up, but once it was going it was fine.

Nice historical accommodation in central location.
Pros:

The location was very close to wharfs and markets. They provide a good quality continent breakfast, although barista coffee is extra.

Pros:

We liked the old charm of the Building inside and out. The included breakfast was great and staff was excellent. The location was great and in easy walking distance to many of the tourist attractions. We liked it a lot.

Comfortable, convenient but a little disappointed the bedroom didn’t match the heritage style or positioning of the Macq
Pros:

The main part of the building was charming - well restored, historic and with a really good classy ambience. The location is pretty central, and the onsite parking a real benefit

Cons:

The upstairs accommodation we occupied looks like a modified wing of the building and lacked the old world charm. The room was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom and shower all fine. I think we were just a bit disappointed that it wasn’t in keeping with the ‘heritage’ type promotions of the facility.

For us it was the perfect place to land for exploring the markets and taking the ferry to Mona. All within easy walking.
