Sigiriya Palace View

Der Aufenthalt im Sigiriya Palace View war echt klasse. Die einheimische junge Familie ist sehr zuvorkommend und aufgeschlossen. Der Hausherr hat viele Tipps für Unternehmungen und Ausflüge, da sollte man sich einfach das passenden für einen selbst raussuchen. Ein absoluter Vorteil der Unterkunft ist das hauseigene Tuktuk. Der Hausherr fährt für einen fairen Preis zu jedem Ort und wartet sogar für den Rücktransport (Transport Hin-Zurück nach Dambulla ~ 5000 Rupien).
Auch gibt es Frühstück/Lunch/Dinner je nach Wunsch auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf dem Lion's Rock für 1600-2000 Rupien.
Also für uns eine absolute Empfehlung!

Merci à Suryia et sa femme pour leur accueil très chaleureux ! Ils se sont montrés aux petits soins en organisant les déplacements en tuktuk / voiture et en nous conseillant pour visiter les alentours. Les repas préparés sur place sont délicieux et la vue sur le Lion’s Rock superbe. Chambres très propre avec air conditionné

I stayed at Sigiriya Palace View 3 nights and I really loved it. As the owned and tuk-tuk driver Suriya was amazingly helpful with tips, pick-ups/drop-offs and also tours. I took a few tours (Pidurangala sunrise hike, Thalkote Lake, Dambulla cave temple, and Pollonaruwa) and was really happy with all of them. Suriya was very flexible and we took the tours when it suited me.
Other absolute highlight of the stay was the breakfast his wife makes, along with bird sounds in the garden and views of the Lion's Rock. Would love to come back if I ever visit Sigiriya again!

Byl jsem tu jen na dvě noci a zrovna nikdo další ubytovaný nebyl. Ochota rodiny a poskytnutí servis byl naprosto dokonalý. Jídlo úžasné. Rád se někdy vrátím.

The accommodation was very good. Friendly hosts and an optimal location with a beautiful view and gardens to relax in. The food was very delicious. All around, everything you could wish for in a beautiful holiday.

As a solo female travel I felt very safe. The host was very helpful and offered tuktuk rides at a fee. He emphasised the importance of safety within the area at night (due to recent wild elephant attacks). I joined the cooking class which was very fun and great value for money, we made lots of delicious dishes.
If I return to Sigiriya, I will definitely stay with this lovely family!

Que dire de cet endroit magnifique c'est un endroit incroyable vous êtes dans la nature dans les éléments tout est très propre et ce couple ils sont adorables des gens comme ça il y en a pas beaucoup ils font tout pour vous pour vous faire plaisir je recommande 1000 fois vous serez pas déçu ils sont tellement gentils et font tout pour que vous soyez à l'aise et que rien ne vous manque très très chaleureux très à l'écoute et font attention à notre sécurité vous pouvez vraiment y aller les yeux fermés 🙏

Une étape très particulière : nous avons confié toute l’organisation à notre hôte, ce qui nous a permis de vraiment lâcher prise. Les cours de cuisine ont été une rencontre intime et chaleureuse. La famille est adorable, et le propriétaire, intelligent et passionné, rend le séjour encore plus riche. Une adresse profondément humaine.

Комфортное место чтобы остановиться в районе Сигерии на несколько ночей. Есть все необходимое для достаточно комфортной жизни, горячая вода, кондиционер. Отличная облагороженная территория, где можно в тени провести время. Сытные завтраки. Но главное - это душевный хозяин, который готов помочь во всем, начиная от любых экскурсий (у него есть свой тук-тук, может помочь с организацией) и заканчивая ответами на любые вопросы.

Our hosts really went the extra mile for us. They made us feel extra welcomed and accommodated our trip very well. They provided plenty of options for all attractions, food and transport. We had no stress of this. We were able to rely on our hosts and they always fulfilled for us. The location is great. Local to all the tourists spots and a stunning view of lions rock. Our hosts accommodated us with home made cooking, which was very tasty and also assisted us with support when we left the town to others. I have recommended to my family and friends to stay here and use our hosts as local support.

A vrai dire, avis partagé. Si vous venez pour le site ou les activités proposées, l'emplacement excellent et la bonne cuisine, parfait. Soriya saura vous faire découvrir les environs. Les salles d'eau sont propres. Bon wifi. Très belle terrasse pour les 4 chambres qui ont la vue directe sur Lion Rock.

This was a great homestay! The family is so nice and willing to help with anything you need. The property is close to Lion Rock, but removed from the main road so it is quiet and peaceful. The surroundings are beautiful and it's a great place to sit and relax. The meals were excellent as well. Highly recommend staying here.

We’ve been in Sri Lanka for a week, and this was the best accommodation we’ve stayed at. The owner was extremely helpful and assisted us with everything. He organized our trips and transportation. His wife is the best cook in the world, and we really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and had a stunning view of Lion Rock. Highly recommended.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberfamilie, leckeres Essen. Einfaches aber schönes, sauberes Homestay mitten in der Natur gelegen, besonders der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Lions Rock war wunderschön und die allmorgenlichen Vogelkonzerte. Suriya organisiert Touren zu fairen Preisen, und auch unsere Weiterfahrt mit 3 anderen Gästen nach Ella hat er gut arrangiert.
