Good rooms and helpful management, but beware of the parking gamble.
Pros:

The rooms were good, and having 24/7 hot water was fantastic for a hill station. The biggest highlight, however, was the senior staff and management. When obnoxious guests threw a midnight party across the corridor, the night desk acted immediately after my call to quiet them down. Later, during a frustrating parking dispute, a sensible supervisor stepped in to rearrange the vehicles so we could park safely when the initial staff refused to help. Good crisis management overall.

Cons:

Parking is a stressful gamble. The lot only fits about 3 cars and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Because there are no vegetarian restaurants nearby, we had to drive our Force Traveller out for dinner and lost our spot. Upon returning at 9 PM, the initial parking staff were unhelpful and tried to force us to park on a random roadside rather than asking a small car in the basement to shift. Additionally, the hotel is stingy with basic amenities—there was no dental kit, and they only provided one tiny bar of soap for two people.
