This is the place.
Pros:

Comfortable beds, huge bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, great fish tacos, exceptional lattes, and an inspiring Pina Colada.

Gio, the owner's dog, is old and going blind and deaf - a sweet fixture.

It's a beautiful hotel in the best location, just a four minute walk from my house, which is in need of some repairs to become habitable, so I might have to extend my stay once again and adopt the staff as family. Worse things could happen.

Cons:

Oh, let me think...still thinking. There was a power outage in the neighborhood for about 90 minutes one night, which happens in Merida from time to time, and that was sort of a bummer, but I had an audio book downloaded, so it just became a cozy night in.

Tutto. Lo staff gentile e disponibile e preparato, ci ha supportato in ogni necessità. La camera era molto spaziosa e arredata con cura. Il bagno super. La vista sulla piscina veramente rilassante. Colazione e cena molto buone.

Cosy, classy boutique hotel with much attention to detail, lovely food with customer first attitude.
Pros:

I spent 3 weeks at Merida Santiago Hotel with a broken ankle. The staff were outstanding in attending to my condition and prioritising my comfort every day.

The food, cooking classes and general atmosphere at this lovely establishment are fabulous. All set in the lovely and deeply historical rich subrb of Santiago.

Butik sevimli bir otel . Sahibi Jan çok ilgili ve yardımcı. Odaları geniş ferah temiz

Cons:

Merkeze yürüyerek 15-20 dakika . Sokak çok sessiz. Benim kaldığım ilk gün resepsiyon 9 da ayrıldı. Tüm otelde yalnız kalmak biraz endişe verdi. Diğer gün resepsiyon vardı

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and kind. The staff seemed like a family and they treated us like guests but in a relaxed and informal manner. The pool was great, the margaritas were delicious, the breakfasts were very good. My room was large and clean and comfortable. I can't wait to return.

Cons:

The sink was so high that it was very inconvenient and drain was leaking and the bathroom floor became all wet. The room was large but somehow the furniture arrangement or lack of it made it not so attractive. Another hotel we stayed in the center of the town was so much better.

An Oasis with terrific food and staff.
Pros:

An Oasis outside the main centre, beautiful room with spacious bathroom, large comfortable bed. The restaurant provided delicious food and we ate breakfast and dinner on a couple of occasions. The staff are delightful. Great cocktails in the bar.

Cons:

It’s about a kilometre from the main plaza which takes about 20mins on foot so it may not be for everyone but we would definitely return . There are plenty of restaurants much closer.

I would have preferred a few blocks closer to the centre of town where other buildings were nicer, but it had more privacy and a lovely small and quiet garden

20min from Center: Good Service, Notable Drawbacks
Pros:

Convenient location in a quiet area, with a 20-minute walk to the city center. Staff provided excellent service, particularly during breakfast and with room maintenance.

Cons:

The hotel offers only street parking, with no private lot available.

The room's outdoor seating is concerning, as the old deteriorating plastic chairs caused skin irritation from chemical exposure. During our stay, the nearby fiesta on December 30th created significant noise until 4 AM, making it impossible to sleep.

Fabulous hotel
Pros:

Absolutely lovely hotel, great staff, very clean and everything finished to a high standard.
Hammocks in the rooms were a nice touch.
Food was excellent. The only hotel where we ate in all the time. Parking reserved outside hotel
