exceptional standard and friendly staff
nothing
the room was dirty, smelled of drains, the tv didn't work, the single glass in the room was cracked. We left immediately and got a different hotel.
Good location and reasonable price
Shower was a bit mouldy. No mirrors in the room.
Create location and parking was very, very useful and clean and tidy!
Quite basic, but really lovely anyway
Spacious room, good bathroom, handy kitchenette, modern decor, price v reasonable
Weird smells, noisy guests, strange vibe, heating not working properly.
20 min walk from battersea, bathroom nice
Room like hostel or low budget , but ok for money , curtains too small for window, live wires on show , bed very uncomfortable, noise from other rooms , bit grubby , kitchen area out of order, on arrival we had to phone to be booked in and waiting , even though when I phoned in morning I was told there would be staff 24 hours , beds would move about on wheels when sitting against head board , images not accurate, looks like some young boys bought a place and painted it up (badly) all units scuffed up and tatty , I would not stay again even thou it was cheap ,
Staff friendly. Location good.
Had to change rooms as tv broken, staff accommodated that but generally room maintenance is poor. Light switch fell off when touched it. Second room had a broken kitchen and lights and parts left under the dressing table. Random. They need a good maintenance person and a plan to fix things. Fire alarm went off at midnight.
Nothing
Bad smell heating only went to 24 poor parking
It has a lot of facilities around and it’s well located . Also I want to thank Mex for the outstanding service .
The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean and modern
This is the 1st time I have ever left a review on anything in my life, but the service at this hotel was beyond bad.
The walls were dirty, covered in marks. It felt unclean. And there was a horrible smell throughout the building
The staff were so rude.
My girlfriend and I walked in through the front entrance. There was no one behind the desk. There was 2 men stood further to the side that just stared at us when we walked in before carrying on their conversation. Then one of them walked over to us and asked how he could help, signalling that he was actually a staff member.
They acted as if us being there was an inconvenience for them.
Booking.com mentions parking at the hotel, when we got there they said it costs an additional £20. Then 1 man said that we could park on the road behind the hotel for free on the weekend. However there were no signs saying it was free. When I went back in it was a different man behind the desk who said it’s not free on weekends. The original guy came back in and said it’s only free up until 7am, but was perfectly happy with me parking my car there all weekend just 10 minutes before. When I question him on it he simply shrugged his shoulders and walked off. This was my first impression of the hotel and I considered asking for a refund straight away.
On the day that we wanted to leave I came down at 10:50 to check out by 11am as instructed during our check in, but, again, no one was behind the desk. There was a sign which said “the receptionist is away from the desk and will be back in 10 minutes, should you need to contact the receptionist call this number.” We were in a bit of a rush so I called the number and a phone on the desk started ringing so there was no way of anyone knowing we were there waiting. After 25 minutes, someone finally turned up and simply took our key card from us. They didn’t say sorry for the wait, or how was your stay, it was simply “checking out? Thank you” then ignored.
Bed is combb
Room size was good, comfortable, and cosy
The kitchen sink was damaged and stained, microwave smelt like it was burnt out
