Pros:

Location! Plenty of options for buses.

Cons:

The lift!!! Didn’t seem to have any sensors…my forearm was crushed leaving bad bruising & inflammation. No first aid available (ice or cold packs) only bandaids!!

Pros:

Location was great

Cons:

Room was weathered, bed was uncomfortable, needs a lick of paint. No air con, but fan provided. Had a problem with the parking, but the receptionist was able to rectify this but it did cause unnecessary stress. If you want to park ensure you get it in writing that they have reserved you a space. I emailed asking for reservation for the parking the week before and was just sent a generic email back on how to access the parking garage so ensure you get confirmation via email before travelling to ensure you have a space.

Just a night with bed and shower.
Pros:

Near where our son lives

Cons:

Floor looked clean but felt dirty and uncleaned. No noise cancellation. Noisy in the morning from 6am!

‘Fine’ for the money. If you want basic, and value for money close to central London - it’ll do.
Pros:

Great value for money, location.

Cons:

A bit run down (shower screen missing, lights hanging from the ceiling), quite dusty.
We contacted the hotel twice ahead of our stay to confirm we had requested a cot for our 2 yr old. However they said it depended on availability. When we arrived they said they had no record and there were not cots available. They did try to source one and we had one on the second night of our stay. Not ideal.
Air con was not working, as mentioned in reviews from months ago!

Horrible!
Pros:

They had a fridge and the bus stop is right outside.

Cons:

Airconditioning didn't work and wasn't informed until I approached reception because it wouldn't turn on (whole reason I booked the accommodation). Was provided a fan but with no window it was a hot box. Walls and bed base were disgusting. House keeping would come in and take towels and bath mats out one day and return them the next. Shower head attached by ziptie. Contacted accommodation to try and work out compensation and they keep telling me it is under investigation and can't give me a timeframe for an answer.

Has potential but no AC, mixed safety, let down by lack of TLC
Pros:

Double studio room on second floor was fairly clean with a comfy bed. Didn't use kitchenette or TV but handy to have. Wifi seemed fine though didn't use for work/streaming. Secure card door lock. Bedside table with plugs, lamp and reading light on both sides. The shower worked fine and was spacious. Bathroom had a motion sensor for low lighting with a timer to turn itself off.

Very quiet inside building. Check in was quick and easy. Staff were polite/professional even with a complaint (see below).

Location is perfect for Battersea, 2 streets from the park, bus stop outside takes you to Victoria in 20mins and Battersea Power Station in 10mins (or 20min walk), with other places to eat closer by.

Potential to be lovely hotel - if they fixed up the AC/made listing more accurate, improved front door security and gave a little more TLC, it could be a top hotel for this area and price range.

Cons:

No aircon - check-in staff member said there wasn't any at all, check-out staff member said the aircon is broken and functions for the whole building, not in each room. I wasn't notified before arrival to consider booking somewhere else. Even with the window open and their desk fan, my room was 31'C at 10pm and didnt drop below 27 all night. The traffic noise added to the difficulty sleeping.

Staff handled the complaint fine with a partial refund, though I would have preferred to sleep well! Given the severity of heatwaves these days, they shouldn't advertise 'single-room' aircon if they don't have it and should notify guests if the main AC is broken with the option for full refund the book elsewhere, as I would not have stayed here if I knew.

The front door to the hotel was left so it could be pushed open from the street, no key card/buzzer needed. Which is fine when someone is on reception, but I was waiting at the desk for a few minutes to request a room change while the solo working staff member wasn't there - they wouldn't have known if any random walked off the street.

Additionally, I was originally put in a ground floor studio with two double beds (last 4 pics). The door didn't feel secure and it felt unsafe to put a solo woman there, especially with main door left open. The room was dirty, old sagging and stained beds, dirty and flaking walls. There was a broken AC unit, tower fan and no opening window. I requested to be moved, thankfully I only needed a room for me as I would be incredibly disappointed if I had needed this size room!

Nice staff, awful hotel
Pros:

The guy at reception was very nice and helpful. The location was good. It had parking, although it cost £20.

Cons:

Where do I start? The room was hot and smelly. There was AC but it didn't work. There was a fan but it was really noisy and ineffectual. The shower was falling off the wall and was packed with some random "matter". The room was ok but I was uneasy about how clean it was. The bed wasn't very comfortable and I didn't sleep well. I had my car and the instructions said to pull up in front of the hotel and check in before parking. That would mean parking on a double red line on a red route, getting me an immediate fine. I called the hotel and went straight to the car park. It's a shame - if they just fixed the broken stuff and cleaned the place properly it could be a nice hotel, however, as it stands I won't be going back.

Love the area but would not stay at this hotel again.

Location to Battersea power station and park

Cons:

Air conditioning not working. Windows screwed shut so no air. Fire alarm hanging by a thread. Whole property needs serious maintenance and decoration.

Disappointing stay due to the lack of advertised air conditioning.
Pros:

Location

Cons:

I specifically booked this hotel because it had air conditioning. It wasn’t working for my entire stay, I wasn’t told beforehand, and no remedy or compensation was offered. Very disappointing.
