The hotel rooms and environment were so far below our expectations that we did not stay.
The 4 star rating is very misleading and I am unconvinced that the 8.8 Booking.com rating is genuine. This hotel is badly in need of a refurbishment. The rooms are dark, outdated and the air conditioning did not function. The pool on the top floor is small and overlooks empty car parks and building sites. The information in the rooms and the person on check-in give warnings about not leaving the hotel because the local area is not safe. Since we did not stay we requested a refund but this was refused.
Clean, comfortable and easy access
I checked in late and it was a slow process
I letti e i cuscini molto comodi.
Tanti complimenti agli chefs! Garantiscono anche pasti senza glutine.
Ottima colazione, molto varia e copiosa.
Consiglio vivamente!
Every thing about our hotel exceeded our expectations
Staff are well trained
The hotel has retained the old colonial features & is in fantastic condition
The pool was dirty so we could not use it
The beach front has deterioratated since we were there 11 years ago
Needs a good upgrade
The rooms and food was excellent
Swimming pool close to early at 6pm
Pool towels should be assigned to a room, not go down to reception an sign to get a towel.
Great place and location. Friendly staff and excellent catering.
Little bit too loud air conditioner...but this is just techical formality.
Room had a partial sea view which we enjoyed, also on the 7th floor with easy access to pool which we made use of. Breakfast was great
Ordered a glass of dry rose wine, they didnt have by the glass only a sweet one so waitress suggested a bottle which I agreed to as we could save for the following evening. Nearly died when the bill came it was the most expensive at R620,00 I hadnt asked the price but could not believe they had not said and offered a more reasonable choice, I wasnt offered a discount which would have made the experience much easier to accept
I liked everything
