Pros:

Generally it was a good Hotel. The location was good. The staff were friendly

Cons:

There's no smoking area for Hubbly smoking. Staff were unhelpful in assisting with a designated area to set up the Hubbly responsibly.

We were extremely impressed with the hotel.
Pros:

The room was a nice size (not too small).
The bedding was clean, soft and comfortable
The room and bathroom was extremely clean (the entire hotel is very clean)
Breakfast was wonderful!!

Cons:

If i had to find something I didnt like, it really had nothing to do with the hotel ... but the one night there was a lot of noise / party at the back of the hotel.

Pros:

Close to venue we needed for weekend. Staff very well mannered and willing to assist at all times.
Very accomodating for the ironman athletes for the weekend.

Cons:

The basement parking bays need to me made biggwr for SUVs and bakkies as its to small and compact or they should say big vehicles can only park outside.

Pros:

Staff were friendly and breakfast was good, nothing else really nice about the place

Cons:

Really not impressed by a so called 4 star hotel

Connection on Smart TV didn't work, even after reporting to staff, asked for coffee station to be filled, got some stuff literally thrown in the room, no clean cups etc

Wanted to use spa, still waiting for call to be returned

Staff were unhelpful when looking for paraplegic parking. They said 1st come first served but had booked parking with spaces being vacant and had to walk across dangerous street for parking

The Edward is always on my short list when staying in Durban
Pros:

The location on the sea front was amazing. The view day and night was fantastic.
The friendly staff and great food in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was top quality.
