This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
It was newly furnished and the bed was comfy.
We left a day early - only on day three did the hotel owner asked if we wanted a room clean after we’d carried rubbish and toilet paper waste out to a bin on the street, and made our own bed.
We’d expected a room clean from day one and not having it cleaned is something I’ve never experienced anywhere in the world or in Uzbekistan. There wasn’t even a door handle card to indicate you wanted or did not want the room cleaned.
The road outside is noisy so opening windows is not ideal. However, there is air conditioning. Curtains are fixed open so you can’t stop the light coming in at night.
Sleeping - the bed was comfy and the decor very new, but pipe clanking noises from above woke us through the night most nights. One night we heard banging doors and shouting in the middle of the night which made it feel unsafe. Additionally there was rarely anyone on reception despite the main door being unlocked.
I’m not sure why the owner requested my WhatsApp number or why I gave it to him - we were tired and for some reason he needed it to send the WiFi code.
We needed a cab so the owner hailed a one for us but jumped into our cab with us on the way to a restaurant, then called me 35 times in 27 minutes while we were out to dinner, apparently to check we’d arrived. This was unnecessary and intrusive. I have kept a record of this.
I messaged and asked him not to call, and later asking for any contact to be through booking dot com messaging only. However, I received multiple calls again on our third day, apparently to ask if we needed the room clean, but my partner had only just verbally confirmed arrangements in person for a room clean. At this point I blocked the hotel’s mobile number. There was a fly in a big pot of multi-use jam and bread was stale. Other food appeared to be reheated daily so we didn’t have breakfast more than twice. We left because it did not feel safe.
Close to Registan
The room was very dusty. One of 2 days there was only cold water in the bathroom
Receptionist insisted on cash payment. He said that today payment terminal doesn’t work. I checked in after 10 pm and answered that don’t have a cash. So we agreed that decide it next day.
Next day he sat right in front our room on the second floor all morning.
In the end of the day it seemed that he has terminal and I paid by card.
