Walton Hotels Galata

The hotel is within easy walking distance of Galata Tower. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and everything was clean and tidy throughout our stay.

Le petit déjeuner était trés copieux, et les chambres trés agrables.

Het zijn hele lieve mensen , zeer schone hotel . Op korte afstand is alles op een loopafstand . Zodra je wat nodig heb , hoelaat het ook is . Is er iemand voor je bereid om het op te lossen

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with such warmth that it genuinely felt like home for us.

The atmosphere throughout the entire property is cozy and inviting, and you can truly feel that every little detail has been thoughtfully considered. Nothing feels random or overlooked—everything has been designed with care and guest comfort in mind.

The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their friendliness made a huge difference in our stay and added a personal touch that is rare to find. The owner, Zeynep, was especially kind and positive, and made us feel truly welcome from the start. Her hospitality made the experience even more memorable.

The location was also incredible—just a few steps from Galata Tower, which made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable.

We also appreciated the thoughtful extras provided, such as an Istanbul Card available for guests, which was a very considerate touch even though we didn’t end up using it. The welcome cocktails were a lovely surprise and set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

One of the absolute highlights was the stunning rooftop terrace with an unforgettable view of Galata Tower and the city.

Overall, this is a place we would happily return to. It combines comfort, warmth, and attention to detail in a way that stands out, and it truly does feel like a home away from home.

Hele schone en ruime kamer. Hele leuke hotel in een super wijk letterlijk 1 minuut lopen naar Galata tower. Heerlijk ontbijt bieden ze ook aan. De eigenaar van de hotel Zeynep is zelf ook aanwezig tijdens het ontbijt en ontvangt je geweldig elke dag weer!

I stayed at Walton Hotels Galata with a friend for three nights in the beginning of June. It was our first proper trip to Istanbul, so the hotel ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. The location was excellent, Galata felt like the perfect neighborhood for experiencing Istanbul. We were able to walk to so many places, and there were plenty of cafés, restaurants, and lively streets nearby. It was also easy to get around the city using public transportation when needed. The neighborhood had a great balance of energy and charm without feeling overwhelming. What stood out most was the staff. Every interaction felt genuinely welcoming and thoughtful. From check-in to everyday questions and recommendations, everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was very comfortable and well maintained. Our room was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed after long days of walking around the city and attending the concert. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt modern, relaxing, and cared for. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a good variety each morning with fresh options and enough selection to start the day well before heading out to explore. It felt like a relaxing part of the experience rather than something rushed.

One detail that made the stay feel even more memorable was having the chance to briefly meet the hotel owner, Zeynep. It was a small interaction, but it reflected the same warmth and hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. You could tell there is genuine care behind the guest experience, and it added a personal touch that made the hotel feel especially welcoming.
