Wholly recommend. And Sao Philipe is the most beautiful and friendly of places.
Pros:

Fabulous hotel, enormous pool, great views and friendly staff. We particularly love the fact this hotel is very clean, excellent linens and quality beds etc but is sustainable in that original features are well looked after instead of being ripped out and replaced every few years as some hotels do which is really bad for the planet.

Cons:

Loved everything. Only suggestion would be to include more vegetables at breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with 3 varieties of melon but some tomatoes, cucumber or other fruits would have complimented the excellent hot foods on offer.

Pros:

Exposition magnifique, vue sur la mer et belle piscine.
Bon pdj.

Cons:

Lit un peu dur à mon goût.
Une critique importante la lenteur et la mauvaise organisation pour se faire servir. Plus de demi heure pour avoir un verre de vin à l'apéritif autour de la piscine. Plus d'une heure d'attente pour le repas. Problème de personnel sans doute, une personne surtout. Dommage la nourriture était bonne.

Pros:

O staff foi muito simpático e prestável! Conseguimos fazer o check in logo pelas 09h, hora a que chegamos do aeroporto. A piscina é muito boa, e tem-se uma vista excelente para a Ilha Brava e o pôr do sol. Fica a menos de 10min a pé do centro de São Filipe e o percurso faz-se muito bem a pé.

Cons:

Os quartos não eram super modernos (o que é totalmente ok), mas cheiravam um pouco a “húmido” (mofo). A WC também não estava SUPER limpa. Acho que precisa de uma remodelação para modernizar, mas mantendo o ar mais rústico e descontraído.

O sítio ideal para fazer umas férias fantásticas.
Pros:

Já tinha estado neste hotel alguns anos atrás, de forma que sabia que era muito bom, mas esta vez excedeu as minhas expectativas. O hotel fica um pouco fora da cidade, mas de muito fácil acesso. A sua localização é ótima, a maioria dos quartos têm terraços. Os nossos quartos tinham vista para a piscina e o mar. Os funcionários eram muito simpáticos e atenciosos. O pequeno almoço era muito bom e as refeições (jantámos algumas vezes ao pê da piscina) também. De vez em quando demoraram um pouco, mas o ritmo em São Filipe é algo lento. A cidade de São Filipe é muito bonita.

Cons:

Não é que não gostei, mas teria gostado de ter uma chaleira no quarto para poder ferver água, porque a água do cano não serve para beber.

Das Hotel verfügt über einen sehr schönen Aussenbereich mit Pool und tollem Blick auf das Meer. Der Balkon meines Zimmers war sehr gross mit Blick auf das Meer und den Pool. In wenigen Gehminuten ist man in der "Innenstadt".

Cons:

Mein Bett hat leider bei jeder Bewegung sehr laute Geräusche gemacht.

A great stay - highly recommended.
Pros:

Really enjoyed my stay here. It was in the centre with a great view and I really enjoyed my afternoon by the pool after a gruelling hike to the top of the volcano in the morning. I had set off for the hike at 06:00 before breakfast so they made me a sandwich and cake and yoghurt to take on the trip. I really appreciated that. The staff were very nice, the girls on reception and Pape in the pool bar.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn’t like. When asked this question many travellers use it as the opportunity to think of something to complain about. All was good.

Pros:

Le balcon vue sur la mer et les couchers de soleil , la piscine, le personnel de la réception très accueillant et agréable.
Fatima nous a organisé des excursions super, à la hauteur du nom de l’agence Qualitour.
L’emplacement près du centre de la ville.

Cons:

La salle de bain méritait une rénovation, le petit-déjeuner était pauvre…..
