Everything. Ared Villa is excellent place to stay after your arrival in Colombo by plane in the evening before going further into the island or along the coast. Perfect A/C, cllean bed linen and absolute silence. Friendly, welcoming staff. I strongly recommend for everybody this place.

Good shower with hot water and apart from the toilet (which you find seldom in Sri lanka).
There was a fleece plaid to cover you at night. I would have preferred some sheets for hygienic reasons though.
We stayed at the Ared on our final night in Sri Lanka, before our flight the next day. The hotel was clean, convenient and friendly. It met our expectations. We didn't eat here, only because we had an early flight and don't really do breakfast. The location, in Lion City, was peaceful and felt very safe.
Only one plug socket in the room (This was a minor inconvenience). The air conditioning was little noisy, but not too intrusive.

We were accomodated here just for night before leaving Lanka. Place is clean though its best days are long gone. Its close to the airport roughly 5-7min ride. Location is quiet something as a private resort.

Location was perfect near airport. Host was very gracious and helpful and a late dinner was delicious. Please note the host does not take credit cards but we were able with his help go to an ATM.

Helpfull and nearby the airport
Perfect for one night
Being picked up at the airport in the early hours of the morning and taken directly to the villa for check-in was wonderful. This was only a short drive and the key reason for choosing Ared Villa. A tour of Negombo next morning was pre-arranged and it was the same driver we'd had earlier who came to get us. All so easy. Breakfast was ready for us at the arranged time and was a lovely introduction to Sri Lankan food. The villa is within a gated community for security and is adjacent to the family home.
Perhaps a little refurbishment is needed, but when coming from a long flight, the basics of a bed, shower and breakfast are just fine.
Fantastic owners. Available any time - when we arrived in the evening and then when we were leaving very early morning, they were there and also organized a transfer. Very nice people. Also it is possible to have a meal there, and gosh, what a meal was that! Delicious and fresh!
The place is several minutes drive from the airport, still a quiet place.
Beds are comfortable, bathroom is spacious.
