Amazing stay in Pana
Pros:

Amazing hostel right in the centre of the main touristy area of Panajachel but set back a bit so is not loud. Super kind and helpful staff. Great amenities and super clean.

La ubicación y la amabilidad del personal

Cons:

Este establecimiento tiene el dudoso honor de ser el peor en el que estuve en mis 15 días por Guatemala. Las fotos son engañosas. Tal vez cuando lo abrieron tenía esa apariencia, pero ahora definitivamente no es así.
En mi habitación había una estantería de madera. Al ir a depositar mis enseres observé que la madera estaba agujereada, no le di mayor importancia hasta que volví de dar un paseo y vi saliendo de los agujeros pequeños escarabajos negros: sÍ, en este alojamiento conviven con la carcoma, y digo conviven porque al decirlo en recepción no observé ni el más minimo atisbo de sorpresa en la cara del empleado. Pero esto no fue lo peor, como tampoco lo fueron las telas de araña en las esquinas o los cadáveres de mosquito incrustados en las paredes. Asumiendo la convivencia con otros inquilinos y las consecuencias de mi nefasta elección de alojamiento decidí instalar mi mosquitera. Imaginaros mi sorpresa al día siguiente cuando amanecí con 4 picaduras consecutivas en el tobillo. Con la mosquitera puesta y viendo la distribución de las picaduras solo pudieron ser chinches.
NO LO RECOMIENDO EN ABSOLUTO

Alojamiento limpio, ordenado y el staff buena onda.
Lugar tranquilo y bien ubicado.
Atenti con las escaleras caracol, no son comodas.
Dan agua, café y te todo el tiempo. Cocina común limpia y completa.

Great budget hotel. The resident Parrot Capricio is absolutely adorable and will greet you with a Hola or Hello. This hotel has great hot water. This may be the best, hottest shower that you take while you are in Guatemala. Wifi is fast and reliable. Comfy bed. Calm atmosphere. Free Guatemalan coffee everyday. A great value for the money located in the heart of Panajachel. You can walk to everything.

Cons:

There was nothing I did not like.

An overall great place to be returned over time...
Pros:

It was nice being back to Hospedaje El Viagjero. The friendly staff, comfort room and surroundings, convenient kitchen supplies and lounging area, as well as its central location all made my latest stay yet another pleasant one.

Pros:

La ubicación, cerca del lago en la calle principal cerca de todo. La amabilidad del personal, té y café disponible sin cargo. Tranquilo ya q está hacia el fondo no da a la calle, seguro. Información y facilitan contratar tours y transportes. Solucionaron enseguida los problemas con la habitación dándonos otra más confortable.

Cons:

La primer habitación que nos asignaron no salía agua caliente y se sentía olor a baño, pedimos cambio y lo hicieron sin problema y sin cargos. La escalera para subir a las habitaciones pero en general todo muy bien.
