This is a new hotel, only 5 min walking distance from the Golden Temple. Location wise its really good. The staff behavior, Room quality and cleanliness were as per my expectation. The Wifi facility was also there and it was working fine.
Ujjwal Joshi ji is a very humble and nice person. He personally looked after our needs. He even suggested for better shopping experience.
There is nothing as such of the hotel to dislike. Only thing was the lane where the Hotel is. The lane had few dog poop. Considering the old city location, I feel this is something we Indians are used to.
The location is great, and the host is extremely helpful
Some of the basic amenities are a miss, like shampoo, hand towel, etc.
The rooms are quite close, so if the guest is loud, it can be a nuisance. The one next to us was so noisy at 2:30 in the morning and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Stairs were quite uncomfortable as well, especially for elderly and people with knee problems, as they are spiral

Rooms were clean and maintained. Location is a plus point. Staff and the Owner are very friendly. Owner helped me in guiding about all the near by places for shopping, exploring and about authentic food culture of Amritsar. and I also don't found any language issue at the place.
For a modest hotel, the value and hospitality are excellent. Simple yet warm, close to golden temple and heritage street making it convenient for me to fully explore the place. Overall very good stay I must say.

Hotel Anjana is a well maintained and well-managed hotel, making it an excellent choice for families. Its safe and convenient location puts you right in the heart of Amritsar’s top attractions—just steps away from the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, the Partition Museum, as well as vibrant shopping and dining areas. The central location makes exploring the city effortless.
The morning breakfast was simple yet delicious, adding a lovely touch to our stay. A special thanks to the warm and welcoming family running the hotel—their hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable.
Overall, this is a fantastic place with no major drawbacks. Since it’s a new property, I’d like to share a few small suggestions to enhance guest comfort:
1. Shower Cubicle: Installing one in the bathroom would prevent the entire bathroom from getting wet during use.
2. Bathroom Shelf: Adding a small shelf for toiletries would improve convenience.
3. Dining Setup: A compact table with chairs would be a welcome addition, as currently, guests have to eat while sitting on the bed.
That said, the rooms are quiet, peaceful, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable —making for a very pleasant stay. With these minor tweaks, it would be even better!
