The staff were lovely and friendly.
The accommodation is shabby and not worth the £150 we paid for our room. Proces aren't reflective of the quality.
Nice building, good breakfast
No aircon in room.
Really helpful staff when there was a booking mixup
Almost everything. We attended a concert at the Scarborough Outdoor Theatre. So, pressure on accommodation was high. Very friendly staff, nice place.
Nothing at all.
Good location for concert in town
Overpaid for standard accommodation
Breakfast
Came back from a concert at midnight the building that my room was in was all locked and this happened to others guests I wasn't given a code for the building to get in
Location was very good. Room was spacious and clean. Gardens were so beautiful. I do recommend this place and will love to come back.
Beautiful historical building; stunning grounds; great local pubs 5 minutes walk away… staff extremely friendly and made you feel very welcome 🤗
Nothing
Great location, friendly staff, late check in, quiet, cool building, nice and warm, good shower, great views at breakfast
Beds and pillows were ok, mattress on the soft side (personally preference I prefer harder)
Lovely gardens, delicious full English breakfast, amazing views, and friendly helpful staff
This property was advertised as a hotel and is far short of that, it is a hostel.
The place has probably not been renovated since the 70’s. The carpets were badly stained. The plumbing was appalling and rust marks all over the bath. They had the audacity to charge £100 per night for this shambles of a place.
The staff went above and beyond to help with recommendations and advice for my mam, she would have struggled without them. I was unable to join the party due to injury and they made the whole experience great for my mam and children.
Lovely place to stay, warm friendly welcome, cosy room, smashing breakfast, wish we had time to walk the gardens ,will be back at some point
Great views
Breakfast is served very late.. a continental breakfast at ..say..7am or even a 'collect' the night before would suit walkers better.
The late breakfast see above
