Pool didn't look inviting - water looked a strange colour.
Advertised as having a safe deposit box in Room- but there was not one
We were informed on booking that cash payments could not be taken - however; problems with payment system meant that we could not pay by card - and had to pay with cash - leaving us short on cash for our time in Palolem

It’s near the end of the season so it’s a little tired. Most staff are great, one less so.

Det kunde funnits solstolar kring poolen och man behöver investera lite pengar för att göra poolområdet mer inbjudande. Wifi var emellanåt svajigt, men å andra sidan är det kanske något man får leva med...

It is not maintained and door lock is really pathetic

MINOR / FUSSY QUIBBLES -

: a rail and hangers in the wardrobe would be perfect
: sunbeds around the wonderful pool area would be fantastic
: sometimes tables on balconies were not cleared of food/drinks for quite a period
: although a kettle and cups are provided, no tea, coffee, sugar or milk is

The property was only 2-3months old when I stayed, but cheap finishings and incomplete works let it down!
The cheap toilet seat and toilet roll holder were already broken! No where to place toiletries in the shower area so the floor had to be used! No wardrobe rail was installed so all clothes had to be stacked! Hooks on the bedroom walls would help, and a broken bedside light already that couldn’t be fixed?
The good looking comfortable bedroom chairs look great, but don’t sit down too heavy cause the screws holding the legs on go through the base and I left with a nasty bruise on my rear!
I writing all this down because I want the owner to improve on the business! The idea is great and Palolem needs higher standards of accommodation, but if a little more money was spent on this and finished then I would have given it 5 stars .. but work needs to be completed!

There is gap between hall and washroom door which is very worst part of property. From the outside (Hall) you can see what ppl doing inside the washroom ;-(

1) The bathroom door has a big gap where one can more than peep inside. See photo.
2) Main door lock is complicated, tight and stubborn. I even hurt my thumb badly as I tried to close the door.
3) The Duty Manager Ramdas is a good man. He however needs to be trained on hospitality terms such as Room Upgrade, Late-Checkout, Genius Member entitlements from Booking.com as he seemed to be ignorant of all these which led to unnecessary pitching for accommodation of results.
4) only 2 pillows were given, as not enough had to request for 2 more.
5) They need to work on toiletries: No shower gel, no shampoo. One tiny nail size Medimix soapling, not good enough for anything hence you need to carry your own shower gels and shampoos. Dental kit was provided.
6) Bathroom needs a shower curtain as currently all the floor gets wet which then brings the wet feet to the room. Floor towels not given.
7) No milk or coffee. Only 2 sachets of green tea.
8) Balcony bulb was not working, wasn't fixed
9) Reception area is less inspiring, more like bachelor accommodation as staff sleep there. It can be done better to greet guests with a vibe. Maybe switch Reception to the restaurant area.
10) Pricey, doesn't give you value for money feel.

You did have to ask for cleaning or Ramdas would ask if after a while the room hadn’t been cleaned. Not really a problem for me on my own though.

Very hard uncomfortable bed.

No cleaning during our stay. No clean towels during our staying of 6 days.
