Was nice clean.
I was close by the room service to much noise in the mooring.
Nothing
Tv didn’t work and called for someone to come fix. Took 1/2 hour for them to come. Guy spent an hour trying to fix and never fixed it. No complimentary breakfast.
Food in restaurant is sub par. Not good
Didn't eat.breakfaat. looked old and dried out
Van pickup vehicle from and back to airport interior was dirty and nearly impossible to board and get out of restaurant waitperson was rude and aggressive towards me when I asked for a hamburger told me the grill was shut down she said they had leftover chicken and bristled when I asked what is the chicken and they close in twenty minutes the front desk laughed at my predicament as one retuned to the front desk with their dinner and I asked her if could I get what they ordered they said they ordered their food an hour ago no water in room I asked to buy water the cost was seven dollars for two bottles
bathroom floor was dirty I was not able to adjust water temp in shower it was boiling hot
two towels a few hand towels and facecloths old and worn out in addition were the
old and worn out bedding that did not smell fresh and clean my room looked over the air conditioning system window dressing old one panel had a stain appeared to be food
Lighting bad at desk
the hotel had been there for decades no update since the last time I stayed there back in 2009 the hotel has changed hands and is the practice of these these old worn out properties do nothing to enhance the property for the betterment of its clients no sit down area outside front door for a wait for airport van no assistance with luggage a sixty dollar add in fee for incidentals I asked what is it for the desk told me they would check my room and if it was trashed I would lose my sixty dollars and then told me the sixty dollars would stay on my America.
absolutely nothing it’s glory days are gone the structure was built back in the late sixties no remodeling old everything smelly halls no chair by the elevator
a thank you to the housekeeper who turned me around to the elevator bank however she was not in uniform and English not her first language but she was a kind and a lovely woman I did not leave a tip it was my mistake and not premeditated in any way the owner should tip her five dollars for her willingness to help me
the cost of the room was close to three hundred dollars
front desk women were unapproachable you are in the hospitality business no newspapers
no food on the road for twelve hours three flights to BDL they the hotel offered me a cookie just like they did almost twenty years ago when a box sandwich would have been appropriate when no food available I would have gladly paid for as well as a box breakfast with pastry and fruit cup would have been most welcome if you have no restaurant available after nine o’clock where are we to go one suggested I walk along the road aways to a place that sold pizza
I’m 84 years old me walk in the dark to where I don’t know makes no sense
the Sheraton BDL airport hotel is superior and totally within the pricing range of this traveler it’s superior front desk personnel accommodating in uniform young and vivacious cheerful and professional my lovely room had a view of the changing leaves
it’s a hand to mouth business with no corporate backing or oversight and foreign buyer manager let a once great property fall into disrepair
my input is of value I’m a seasoned traveler I have stayed in hotels from US and Canada to Europe the Caribbean islands the UK Scotland Ireland and South America Brazil Chile Argentina Honduras Venezuela and in Asia and Japan Thailand the Hawaiian islands and in North Africa and a hotel in once communist Latvia
Sweden and Denmark
Guam Okinawa Costa Rica Guatemala El Salvador and Bolivia and Honduras
don’t know actually the count but...
The buffet was adequate and there was limited staff but he was trying his best to accommodate all.
The coffee table top had not been cleaned in a while. While the bathroom was clean it was hard to maneuver the door around the toilet -- seemed like the door should have been smaller or the toilet farther away perhaps...............
Manager arranged Lyft driver
Clean
Nothing
The cookies and the shuttle to the airport
Air conditioning was so loud
