Property requires renovation
Pros:

The staff was great and the food was good. Their grape juice is amazing.

Cons:

The property was not as shown in the pics....it was run down and requires a lot of fixing. I guess renovation is already on.

We had booked a 2 bedroom villa, it was in very bad and pathetic condition, broken windows, doors, washbasins, lighting etc, there was no chair to sit in the room, curtains were also broken, water taps were also leaking, the staff rudely took the money as soon as they came, the entire resort was in a mess and there was nothing except broken cottages at many places, how did booking.com include such properties on its site, we vacated the room within 1 hour and had to return home, Rs 17980/- for one night was wasted, Rs 1000 extra took for pet also entry

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La serene. The staff were very helpful and kind. The food was also amazing. The property was really beautiful and well maintained. Thank you for offering us a complementary bon fire .... You made our stay very memorable and fun .

Pros:

We have booked 2 tree houses Room is pretty good. There was no TV in room.Also no tables. Bathroom is not attached and was not clean and maintained as expected. Breakfast was good, they served idli and poha and when asked for gave bread and omlet.

Cons:

No parking space . Pool was relatively small and not cleaned well. There is no proper dining area as well to have food.

My stay at La Serene Resort, Nandi Hills was highly disappointing.
The property is very congested and lacks the ambiance expected from a resort. Even after arriving just one hour late, I had to wait another hour for check-in and was given a different room.
The service is unacceptable — lunch took more than an hour despite no rush. Basic facilities are unreliable; water stopped abruptly during a shower, and it took 35 minutes to resolve even after informing the manager.
Additionally, the complimentary breakfast timing was stated as 8–9 AM, but it only started after 9:30 AM. This is highly unprofessional, as guests plan their schedules accordingly. My sightseeing plans were completely spoiled due to this delay.
Overall, this place fails on service, management, and guest experience. Definitely not worth the money or time.

Weekend Stay near Nandi Hills
Pros:

The location was good, a 2.5 hour drive from Bangalore. The property is beautiful with lots of greenery a small marble fountain and aesthetic earthen pots..The food was surprisingly good and the service was also very prompt.

Cons:

The cleanliness could have been better, had to ask them to clean the rooms again..The carpet in the living room was still super dirty! The linens also didn't feel fresh.The library is non existent..They also didn't have a Kids cot as mentioned on the website..
