Good hotel with friendly staff.
The restaurant serves very tasty food, but it closes at 9 PM, so make sure to order before then. Rooms re quite small.
Location was spectacular
Hotel was clean, nice and very good
Staff was polite and primpt
I liked everything
Amazing location and great property to stay at if you wish to get uninterrupted views of the Punakha valley - the hotel is looking over the Dzong by the riverside making it an excellent option to stay for a night or two
The only issue we had was about the breakfast. Our booking was not breakfast inclusive hence at checkin we enquired if the breakfast was at charge and its price to which we were informed that it was inclusive. Later in the evening when we were deciding on what we wish to have in the breakfast next day morning we enquired again if it was at charge or inclusive - the answer was inclusive. At checkout we were asked to pay close to 2000-2200 BTN for two pax breakfast which was exorbitantly high. - We didn’t get any proper compensation or reduction in the price despite of their miscommunication and instead a plain sorry. I do not wish to degrade the property rating for this unfortunate experience but honestly it left a very sore memory in our mind.
The location is excellent.
excellent location
none
Location is excellent. It is right in front of a river and is beautiful. Unfortunately that is the only good thing about the resort. The staff is not very professional and although they are polite, they behave like a resort facing scarcity issues, under staffed, stressed and not willing to put themselves in the shoes of the customer (lack empathy).
Staff is completely unequipped to handle food. You have to order 5 hours in advance for any meal and in a group it is difficult to ask people to decide on a food menu in advance. It was a nightmare to place a dinner order at this place! They have an all male staff team who don't have empathy for customers.
Location is very nice

The location is opposite the Punakha Dhonz and great view both night and day across the river. While review which we looked at mentioned no internet..the hotel has pretty decent internet. No aircon or heater so it was cold and we had visited in early November. Not sure what it will be like in winter. Good options of local food in the restaurant.
While the bathroom was clean and tidy carrying an air freshner would be useful as there does not seem to be any ventilation.
