Bellissima esperienza
Pros:

Staff superlativo che ha cercato di anticipare ogni nostra richiesta. Gli spazi esterni , con piscina,immersi nella natura sono bellissimi. Abbiamo avuto modo di cenare 2 volte e la seconda sera ci hanno organizzato un barbecue sotto le stelle indimenticabile.

Cons:

Stando immerso nella natura qualche insetto fa visita in camera.

Pros:

Wir hatten 2 sehr schöne große Zimmer direkt am Pool , der sehr gepflegt ist. Die Lodge ist einfach traumhaft, etwas abgelegen aber schön ruhig. Perfekt um zum Sigiriya Park oder zum Pidurangala Rock zu kommen. Aber am besten sind die 2 super freundlichen Gastgeber die alles taten damit wir uns wohl fühlten. Es gab fantastisches Essen, Lunch und Abendessen typisch Sri Lanka frisch zubereitet. Die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise! Vielen Dank!

Evtl könnte man noch einen Sonnenschirm am Pool aufstellen

Cons:

Noch wärend der Anfahrt erhielten wir einen Anruf des Hotels, daß das Restaurant geschlossen ist. Also haben wir uns food to go geholt und weiter zum Hotel. Wir kamen abends bei absoluter Dunkelheit mitten im Niegendwo an.
Wir dachten wir seien falsch.
Dann kam ein Mann und hat uns Licht gemacht.
Dieser rief den Hotelbesitzer an und gab uns unseren Schlüssel. Er gab uns dann Teller und Wasser und wir konnten auf der Veranda essen. Frühstückswünsche
konnten wir per Telefon weitergeben.
Das Badezimmer war noch nicht von der Spuren der Vormieter gereinigt, es war noch die benutzte Seife in der Dusche samt Verpackung....
Statt Omelett gab es am nächsten Morgen dann ein Spiegelei, Toastbrot Butter und Marmelade, sowieetwas Obst. Erst zum Abschluss gab es 1 Tasse Kaffee.

Bei Tageslicht sah die Hotelanlage sch etwas einladenden aus, auch der Pool wirkte gepflegt.

Aber Nachts wären wir am liebsten sofort wieder weg

Pros:

At the time I entered to the hotel premises, was welcomed by the owner of the hotel and given a super welcome drink that was really tasty drink.
Then I was in the the room, very clean and comfortable room with facilities they mentioned.
I had great dinner and enjoyed it was delicious.Restaurant is not very big, but very good service. Next morning I had my breakfast in a open air place and they placed a table and chairs for me to enjoy the beautiful environment.
I found hotel garden very beautiful with fruit trees like Mangoes, Pommegranate,Banana ,soursap and even next day morning I got a glass of fresh Soursap juice from their garden.Exellent environment with birds and lots of peacocks. It’s Amazing.When I asked about the Elephants they organized me a jeep with very good driver and i enjoyed superb safari. Thank you for all your information’s and friendliness.
It was a short visit and a short stay in the hotel. I just wanted to be away from my hustle and stressful life.
Thanks Tiara Elephant Lodge for your excellent customer service, good food, cosy rooms, and friendly staff, very helpful. Thank you Tiara. This hotel I can recommend to anyone who is looking for comfortable good hotel in Habarana. Value for money that you spend.Defenately I will come back again with my family and friends to spend a weekend in near future.

Excellent. Hospiality wonderful, Peaceful surrounding’s definately will stay again.
Pros:

This was the second time I have stayed at Tiara Lodge, the first time was in July for four days. Whilst the Tiara Lodge is still a work in progress I really enjoyed my stay.
The Food above all was excellant, the staff very friendly nothing was to much trouble.
Tiara Lodge's location is great for access to Minneriya Nature Reserve (Elephant Park) Sigiriya Rock Temple and Ritigala Nature Reserve, and only about one & half hour drive to Trincomalee and the East Coast.
I will definately use Tiara Lodge as a base for my next visit in 2024.

Cons:

Tiara Lodge hope to have a swimming Pool in the near future which will make even better, at the moment there's no pool.
The Location shown on Booking.Com is incorrect and makes it difficult to find.
The actual location needs revising to show the correct Location.

Book at your own Risk!
Pros:

NOTHING. Our driver couldn't find them. Local Habarana taxis and tuk tuk drivers don't even know where they are. After 2hrs looking and asking Bookings to help,

Cons:

It's not on the map coordinates shown on Bookings. The worded address on Bookings does not exist on Google map. Even local Habarana taxis and tuk tuk drivers don't know the location!
The telephone number does not work.
They take too long to reply when messaging. Message lodge to say we have arrived but the lodge is not located on its Google coordinates. No return message even after looking for 2hrs.
Called Bookings and managed to get another number to call. Spoke to the owner who was unhelpful.
Asked him to send someone to lead us to the lodge but he said he will tells us directions on the phone. WTH?
Insisted that we stay even after he told us he did not have the rooms we booked. We are 3 guys and booked a Double and a Twin. He told us he only can give 2 Double rooms. Asked for a folding bed or extra mattress and he said we can share the bed.
He denied he said he has driver accommodation for our driver even though I have the conversation thread to proof it in B&W.
ZERO star is more appropriate.
