Superb modern hotel with a fabulous roof top restaurant.
Pros:

Very modern hotel with excellent facilities and a spacious, comfortable room. We loved the roof top restaurant which served the most amazing Pan Asian food. Great location for exploring Puducherry.

Cons:

The ground floor restaurant gets extremely busy at breakfast time.

Ambience, front lobby staff was excellent especially Ms Gayatri, ever helpful.

Cons:

The restaurant service. There is a language problem. They seem to be inexperienced. Ms. Shabda was the only one who seemed to know what service means
It would have been good if Mr. Raghul spoke to customers since he was sitting in the restaurant and observing things

Pros:

Sehr gutes und sauberes Hotel, mit tollem Frühstück, sehr freundlichem Personal und gutem Spa. Das Angebot der 2 Restaurants ist gut. Hier findet jeder etwas.

Excellent hotel worth its 5 stars (stayed 6 nights)
Pros:

very large rooms, good sound isolation (although you hear the city noise a bit and one should avoid the side of the mosque..). Excellent shower. Most of the staff was very friendly, both in restaurants and at reception. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed for 6 nights. After 3 nights we asked another room to be away from the mosque and construction work presently taking place at that side also. It was immediately accepted with a smile .

Cons:

There was no garden or so to stay outside but that is probably true for other hotels in the city as well

Very good stay and suited our purposes well
Pros:

Ideal location. Staff very helpful. Easy to get around

Cons:

Some problems with breakfast as ran out of coffee and had to ask. Might have been better not to have left carpet laying half done

Beautiful hotel but very high prices unless you have some inner urge to splurge for no reason

The rates were just tooooo high for pondicherry considering its not like among the top visited places like rajasthan goa or kerala..i mean except for the hotel din find anything else there ofcourse the auroville was great and their concept of shared living was unique and good but apart from that i started thinking why did i pay around 2lakhs just for two nights??
