Kaku Studio Apartment Ikebukuro

- Fijne ligging in een rustige buurt op loopafstand van station Ikebukuro
- Host Koharu was ontzettend behulpzaam gedurende ons gehele verblijf! Ook al hebben we haar nooit ontmoet, haar enthousiasme in het online contact was heel fijn en een leuke bijkomstigheid. Alleen al daarom raad ik een verblijf hier aan. En de omgeving rondom station Ikebukuro is ook erg leuk en levendig.

There’s things to do near by and the host was kind, responsive and gave us clear instructions of everything.

Koharu was such a great host, we had a problem finding the accommodation but we sort it out

Loopafstand van Ikebukuro station, ruime slaap/eet kamer. Badkamer wel heel compact maar goed te doen. Ingang was wat klein en smal

I booked the Kaku studio last minute after I missed a train. Koharu, the host, was very kind and understanding and I had a great time. The neighbourhood is very calm but a short walk away from a lot of great stores, gardens and restaurants, whatever you are in the mood for! Ikebukuro is a hidden gem and way less busy compared to the usual spots you think of going to while in Japan. But this ended up being my favourite Neighborhood.

The area is super cool, good for manga and anime. There is supermarket near by and combini.

Emplacement idéal, à 12 min à pied de la gare d'ikebukuro (qui permet de relier Shinjuku très rapidement).
Il y a à proximité de nombreux convenient store dont un qui nous a permis d'envoyer nos bagages vers un autre hôtel pour la suite de notre voyage via le service Yamato.
La propriétaire a vite pris contact avec moi pour me fournir une carte de recommandations sur Tokyo. Elle m'a indiqué ce que l'on pouvait faire en fonction de nos goûts. Elle m'a également envoyé toutes les informations nécessaires juste avant notre arrivée dans l'appartement et pris des nouvelles une fois installés.
Tout le nécessaire d'hygiène était présent, nous n'avons manqué de rien.

The building is a residential block in a quiet area and not chaotic zone.
Ikebukuro station is few minute walking from there.
Everything went smoothly as planned.

Owner was very helpful and responsive, providing information and recommendations when asked, facilities were decent for price paid

The location was great. Very close to Ikebukuro station, a lot of convenient stores near by, coffeeshops, restaurants and many more. Me and husband totally fell in love with Ikebukuro. It's great for eating at izakayas or if you enjoy a vivid nightlife.
The bed was super comfortable and the beamer for watching movies in the evening was also very convenient.
We loved the quiet neighbourhood. There was a lot to explore and we loved taking walks later at night just to enjoy the silence after a very loud day in the center.
Especially the host Koharu-san was always so helpful and nice.

Loved staying here, and only wish I could have for longer!

Firstly the host is probably one of the most helpful and friendly I've ever had in my years of travelling- and I didn't even meet her! However, she was available via Whatsapp during the lead-up to, and during, my stay and was honestly so great at sending me recommendations for things in the area, and any questions around checking in. The bed was also the comfiest I've had in Tokyo so far. The area was super quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Ikebukuro, but still not too far a walk from anything. Had everything I needed for a 3 night stay, especially how compact the apartment is!

It's located in a very beautiful and quiet area, with great connections to the Yamanote Line, and the bed is super comfortable too! ❤️

The train station is at 13 min walking distance but there are a lot of shops and supermarkets around

We loved how close and convinient it was and the hospitality of the host! She was lovely.
