Hotel ist für 2 ÜN in Ordnung
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war für einen Kurzaufenthalt von 2 Nächten in Ordnung. Wir kamen abends am Flughafen in Makassar an, der etwa 13 km von der Unterkunft entfernt liegt. Das asiatische Frühstück ist umfangreich. Es gibt einen Zimmerservice und frische Handtücher. Die AC funktioniert gut. Wir hatten unserer Zimmer im 9. Stock. Das Fenster war nur einen kleinen Spalt zu öffnen.
Leider gibt es nicht wirklich viel in der Stadt zu entdecken außer Fort Rotterdam und die Masjid 99 Kubah. Wir waren noch in der Mall Trans Studio.
Für die Weiterfahrt nach Rahnepao können wir den Nightbus von Bintang Prima empfehlen. Am besten einen Tag vorher direkt mit GRAB zum Busunternehmen fahren und Vorort die Tickets buchen.

Cons:

Das Personal im Frühstücksraum war wenig aufmerksam und ständig mit dem Handy beschäftigt. Das Handy war zu dem auf laut gestellt 😠
Ein Late Check out gibt es im Hotel leider nicht. Wir hätten dafür gezahlt. Man wollte uns eine komplette Übernachtung in Rechnung stellen. Das haben wir dann nicht gemacht.

Good place to stay
Pros:

We stayed there for a short time. Good location, not far from a promenade, friendly atmosphere. Really good place to start your travel to explore south and west part of of Sulawesi.

Prima hotel voor deze prijs.
Pros:

Vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van het personeel - en hun flexibiliteit! Vooral de 2 dames achter de front desk op dinsdag 10/02/2026.
Schone kamer en goed ontbijtbuffet tegen redelijke prijs.
Dicht bij een aantal restaurants en de boulevard.

Cons:

Verzoeken (via Booking) werden niet beantwoord, zodat we bv. niet wisten of we (na vertraging) rond 01:00 AM nog konden inchecken - wat gelukkig wél het geval was.

Hele goede plek voor kort verblijf
Pros:

Het was een heel lekker bed en goede AC. Lekker ontbijt. Vrij koele douche maar dat is eigenlijk overal. Vinden wij geen probleem. Wat heel geweldig was : de jongedame van de receptie heeft ons enorm geholpen om de mini van naar Bira te kunnen halen : grab voor ons geregeld en zo zaten we in 20 min in de kleine bus 🫶🏻

Pros:

Lokacija je blizu obale in zgodovinskih objektov. Zajtrk je raznolik in res dober. Klima je tiha. TV je velik, možno ga je priključiti na računalnik. Imeli smo sobo v 11 nadstropju in pogled na morje.

Cons:

Okna ni mogoče odpreti. V nekaterih sobah kadijo, zato se voha dim.

It was a good room and next to many warungs and close to the beautiful mosque. Also close to beautiful spot close to the water.
Robby helped me organise my bus ride to toraja, very nice!

Pros:

We felt like royalty here - this place really is affordable luxury. The staff are incredibly helpful and the room was so nice and comfortable. Amazing shower (with hot water), extra comfortable bed, and AC - we didn’t want to leave. Our room had an incredible ocean view and we could see the 99 dome mosque. Within walking distance of several restaurants, cafes and attractions in Makassar.
