Good hotel in the middle of Seoul. Close to metro, train station and arra with lots of restaursnts. Also some 7-11 shops are available within few minuts walk. Definitely good place to stay for fee days.
The hotel is located right in myeongdong within walking distance to the airport shuttle and regular bus stops as well as the shopping districts. Theres also plenty of food options around to try. The room is perfect for two people no more than that though. The staff were nice and sweet as well. Pretty affordable to be located close to the shopping districts and an airport shuttle bus stop.
The air quality was pretty poor in the room from the a/c specifically. I sleep with a CPAP so there's really no escaping it. I would often wake up in the morning coughing out whatever was being layered into my throat all night. A thin film even started to form on my phone.
This was a truly wonderful experience. The receptionist was very kind. We accidentally left my girlfriend’s passport at a hotel in Busan, and because it was difficult to communicate with the Busan hotel in English, the receptionist at ShinShin hotel patiently helped us contact them and arranged the passport to be safely delivered to us.
If the manager of ShinShin hotel is reading this review, please give the receptionist who was working on August 2 a raise. He absolutely deserves it! His kindness, patience, and willingness to help turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a smooth one.
The room was also clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
Overall, this was an unforgettable stay, and I would highly recommend ShinShin hotel to anyone visiting Korea.

The staff we absolutely amazing! I speak very little Korean, and their English was amazing! The morning we checked out the front desk clerk helped us order a taxi to the airport, making our travel stress free for an early morning flight. There are tons of restaurants, bars, and cafe's just a few steps out the door. The night market is a short walk away and the meeting point for DMZ tours through multiple companies is right around the corner. The train station is also super close and we took the train all over the city. This area is a perfect location for a home base while in Seoul.
The beds were on the firm side, not uncomfortable but not fluffy either. Lighting in the room was dim, even by the sink. Putting my contacts in was difficult in the dim light, I ended up using the flashlight on my phone to provide the amount of light I need to get ready. The bathroom only had a shower and after a long day of walking around the city a soak would have helped and we each commented on it at least once. Also its worth noting that this hotel is on the top of a hill, no matter which road you take to get to it you will be walking up hill, two of the smaller roads are very steep. Over all the location and price out weigh the minor inconveniences I noted here.

Great location - easy to walk to the night markets, lots of restaurants and bars just around the hotel. Comfy beds and helpful staff.
The bathrooms are a little outdated, old shower curtains and some mold spots on the walls. Rooms are pretty small and can't really have 2 suitcases open at the same time.
