Avoid it at every cost
Pros:

Staffs are friendly

Cons:

Very poor breakfast, miles away from George Town.
Traffic in Penang is horrendous so you will spend more time sitting in traffic if you stop here.
I have stopped in other Ascott star hotel, this is very poor comparatively.

Room is fine location is ok just the management couldn’t settle the issue of I’m facing feel sad about it.

Location is fine but the facilities are really bad

Cons:

The bathroom drain is clogged and causing water to accumulate. This is quite inconvenient.

Good stay for the money you paid
Pros:

Like the comfy bed and clean shower, spacious room with great view of buildings,

Cons:

Swimming pool with a view but risky for children to swim, food can improve for the money we pay, have to collect food package from the receptionist.

Wonderful experience, kudos to the awesome staff and service!
Pros:

First of all, I absolutely would recommend this place to anyone browsing right now. If you’re not particular about being extremely close to Georgetown city centre then please don’t look anywhere else. Not only are the staff helpful, friendly and hospitable, my entire stay was just amazingly pleasant. Clean, comfortable, cozy, I even got additional time for late check out (complimentary, of course subject to hotel availability) and they never rushed me despite me being super late cos i overslept. I will never stay anywhere else if I head over to Penang. I love this place!

Cons:

I loved everything! Thank you for hosting my amazing stay.

New, value for money, near tl Georgetown (like 5KM radius to reach Love Lane).

Cons:

Traffic getting to Georgetown can be hectic during rush hours.

Value for money!
Pros:

- location is good; slightly far from the busy town but still within reach to places
- a lot more homey than hotel-y. I like how it's very private and not busy.
- the building is small yet exclusive so it feels very premium and going to lobby, swimming pool, etc is quick and easy.
- there's 24 hours convenience store at the first floor. There's also a coffee machine (Costa i think) at the lobby.
- bellboy always ready at the first floor so you're good when you arrives.
- view is great. You can see the sea (from my room laa).
- spacious room with bright colors. Feels very very big.
- my wife and kid likes the body wash and shampoo, if that helps. Even the towel smells like caramel popcorn - kid likes it very much
- staff were very helpful. I asked for baby cot and there's none available but they sent over the next day once available.

Cons:

- slightly noisy at night because it's right beside the main road.
- pool is slightly small. If there's 3-4 families i think it's crowded already.
- didn't get the breakfast because it's grab and go, a bit sad.
