Some elements a bit tired.

Late time for breakfast

It can be a little noisy in the evenings.

Het was wel wat fris s nachts en er was alleen een laken. Een deken/dekbed was fijn geweest.

Central location meant street restaurant noise until late (despite double glazing, must have been very poor quality). Poor insulation between rooms so could hear people using the shower, toilet or hair drier. Maintenance issues in our bathroom with the washbasin damage and essentially not having a working shower ! There was hardly any staff to help us and we had to wait for them to stop serving at the restaurant across the street to help us. Only one member could speak English, the other lady could not (had to use Google translate to communicate). They would not move us to another room to be able to use the shower but then gave us the key of another room for 2 nights ! Ridiculous. Hot water took a long time to arrive. Breakfast served on a conference table, odd. No privacy in room as less than 2 meters between our window and the neighbours across the street, looking directly at our room.

The room was a little bit dark it may need more lamps

We booked their best room and the decor was tacky and poor quality, we paid for breakfast, but as I think we were the only guest in the hotel so we were sent to another hotel around 10 minutes away for breakfast every morning. There’s no comfort or any anywhere to relax in the hotel but I believe the hotel owners owned the bar literally outside the front door and that is very useful and a nice venue for tapas and drinks. The desk in the hotel was never occupied apart from the day we arrived, when we left it was empty again we just left the key and the card on the desk and went. I think the biggest issue is when you’re staying in a hotel and you’re paying for breakfast it’s nice just to go down for breakfast in the morning and not have to walk 10 minutes through the town to another hotel and then try to explain to that hotel that you’ve been sent by the hotel you’re staying at. Once they understood they explained that the hotel we were staying in had no occupancy so they weren’t bothering doing breakfast.
