This was our first time in Rome and this was the perfect place to stay — we literally could not have asked for anything better! First off, the location is fantastic — the Pantheon was a 5 minute walk, and we were within walking distance of Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, the Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Roman Forum, and Capitoline Museum. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the staff go above and beyond to help you.

A wonderful boutique hotel with a lovely and helpful staff. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city—yet you can't hear any noise in the rooms. I'd love to stay there again.
Everything was great.
The hotel is a beautiful and unique design and tucked away just off a main street. The staff were all very nice and helpful - particularly the cleaners and breakfast staff. It was ideally located to get around the Centro Storico by foot. The breakfast was good and had plenty of hot and cold options. The air conditioning was strong and very welcome in the extreme heat. And the room was nice and quiet!
The jacuzzi tub in the room was a bit strange.

Dear Hotel Manager,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I had upon arriving at your hotel today.
I accidentally made my reservation for two adults, and when I arrived with my family, including my two children, I understood that there would be an additional charge or adjustment needed. I fully accept responsibility for the booking mistake and was prepared to pay any additional cost required. The room I booked also has two beds, so I was simply hoping to resolve the situation with the hotel in a straightforward and pleasant manner.
Unfortunately, what disappointed me most was not the booking issue, but the way I was treated by the lady at the reception desk. Her tone was extremely rude, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. I felt as though I had done something wrong simply by arriving at the hotel and asking for assistance.
I understand that mistakes can happen with reservations, and I have no problem accepting the consequences of my own mistake. However, as a guest who has chosen a four-star hotel, I expected to be greeted with a welcoming smile, a polite tone, and professional hospitality—even when there is an issue that needs to be resolved.
Sadly, this interaction completely ruined my first impression of Rome and of your hotel. I arrived expecting a pleasant stay, but instead I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome from the very beginning. I feel like she been looking at me like I try to hidden my children by booking 2 adults only . I ended up pay extra $360 euro. It has significantly changed my impression of your hotel and its reputation.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the way guests are welcomed and treated at the reception desk. No matter what issue a guest may have with a reservation, they should still be treated with courtesy and respect.
I am sorry to have to write such a complaint, but I genuinely do not feel good about the way I was treated today.

The reception staff was very helpful! We loved the location for main tourist sites and for wandering into Trastavere for a few meals.

the specific room was under an apartment not part of the hotel and there is a with wooden ceiling - noise during the whole night!
