A beautiful and quiet spot to retreat after exploring the caves
Pros:

We had a wonderful getaway at Hillside View. It was a lovely and quiet place to retreat to after a day of exploring the beautiful Phong Nha region. The staff were incredible and made us feel so welcome. Their hospitality was top level and Ngoc and Tuan go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. They provided a very efficient and easy pick up from the train station, booked us on an awesome tour, organised a driver at the last minute so we could explore, and catered super well for gluten free needs. They also run a great restaurant in town, Lantern Restaurant, which serves delicious local food and the bonus is you can order some of their dishes at the home stay which is perfect after a big day of trekking to caves. The location is in a nice and quiet area and it is on the other side of the river to the main town but it’s an easy 5 min grab into town.

Goede prijs en kwaliteit verhouding en een fijne plek als je wat stilte wil.
Pros:

De gastvrijheid. De gastvrouw heeft ons opgehaald van de bushalte. Ze heeft de paradise cave tour en de volgende busreis voor ons geregeld en de communicatie met hen was ook heel goed geregeld. We mochten verschillende keren met haar mee rijden als we in het centrum moesten zijn. Wat ik heel prettig vond is dat we daar eten en drinken konden nuttigen buiten het ontbijt om. Zo konden we goed gevuld aan onze volgende busreis beginnen.

De homestay was heerlijk stil en rustig. Dat vond ik erg fijn. Je kan er buiten goed relaxen in de hangmat en uitrusten.

De kamer was prima. Lekker geslapen. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad en het zwembad was heerlijk.

Cons:

Het is geen 9 of 10 omdat er geen sfeerverlichting aanwezig was (een must om niet in het felle licht te hoeven liggen als je wel tot rust wil komen en ook in slaap wil komen, maar nog niet gelijk in het donker wil liggen) geen conditioner, geen ligkussens op de ligbedden (het ligt jammer genoeg oncomfortabel) en geen minibar al stond er wel een koelkast maar deze moest je dan zelf aanzetten en vullen. De gastfamilie is al vroeg in de ochtend in de weer waarbij ze aardig wat stemvolume gebruiken, dat is wel een nadeel als je moe bent en wil kunnen uitslapen en uitrusten.

Schöne Anlage und freundliches Personal. Ich hatte Magenprobleme und beim Empfang hatte ich gleich ein sehr freundliches Gespräch mit der ich nehme mal an Besitzerin, und sie hat mir gleich vorgeschlagen mir eine Reissuppe zu kochen, das sei das Mittel der Wahl in Vietnam. Die Zimmer sind schön groß jeweils mit zwei großen doppelbetten einem separaten Bad mit WC. Wirklich hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche Personal dad uns bei allem geholfen hat unseren Aufenthalt hier zu gestalten. Wir haben auch völlig problemlos hier einen Roller mieten können. In der Stadt gibt es ein Restaurant das zu dem Hotel gehört das Laterna dort haben wir sehr gut gegessen

Cons:

Im Bad war keine Steckdose vorhanden so dass man Zahnbürste oder Rasierer separat außen einstecken musste, was aber nicht wirklich ein Problem darstellen.

Personale molto accogliente, stanza pulita e piscina meravigliosa.
Offrono anche servizio ristorante prendendo il cibo da un locale in centro davvero ottimo. Noi abbiamo poi scelto di andare direttamente nel locale con utilizzo di Grab.
Ottimi anche i tuoi che offrono: una gita nelle caverne limitrofi divertente e adatta anche ai bambini
Ci ha anche organizzato il trasferimento ad Hue con ottimo prezzo e organizzazione.

Pros:

The accomodation was wonderful. We enjoyed staying here and would gladly choose it for our next stay. There is a pool in front of the accomodation that you can use and the area is very clean and taken care of. The best thing about this place is the staff, the lady was there for everything we needed. She was very kind to help us with all the information about the town and even reccommended us the most amazing trekking tour. The place has motorcycles available for rent and the food on the menu was tasty. Wish we could have stayed for few more nights.

Excellent service and attentive staff. Price was reasonable and location was a 5 minute motorbike ride to Phong Nha. Host booked cave tour and bus for us. Also on site motorbike rental
