Pros:

Véritable petit écrin douillet, dans une rue assez calme bien qu'à 300 m à pied du centre historique de Malacca. Hôtel plein de charme et personnel très accueillant et attentionné. Très bonne literie, état de la chambre impeccable, petite bouilloire, tasses, petit frigidaire pour y rafraichir quelques bouteilles d'eau bienvenues, et autres "amenities" d'usage. Limonade de bienvenue offerte à l'arrivée, délicieuse !

Cons:

Quelques accroches ou crochets seraient bienvenus afin de pouvoir suspendre quelques affaires dans la chambre, mais à part cela rien à dire !

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which was perfectly located to visit all Maleka has to offer
Pros:

Proximity to Jonker Street. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The family room was huge and in mint condition. We liked everything about this hotel

We had a pleasant & enjoyable stay at Viento RedHouse.
Pros:

Staffs was friendly and helpful. Easy to find food nearby and location was near to historical place. Was very colourful at night.

Cons:

1. We had to go to 7eleven to microwavw food.
2. No vending machine (drinks & sandwitches)

Cons:

- Erstes Zimmer hat sehr stark nach neu gelegtem Silikon oder Farbe gerochen, ich habe einen Luftfilter erhalten und konnte am nächsten Tag das Zimmer wechseln. Wie man ein solchen Zimmer vermieten kann ist mir schleierhaft.
- Abfluss in der Dusche im zweiten Zimmer hat nicht richtig funktioniert, sodass man dss Wasser abstellen musste um das Badezimmer nicht zu überschwemmen.
- Preis / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt meiner Meinung nach nicht.
- Sehr Unflexibel bezüglich Änderungsanfrage, eine kostenlose Stornierung und Neubuchung hätte das Problem gelöst.

We had such a wonderful stay at Viento Redhouse Melaka! ❤️

The location is super strategic—it’s within walking distance to most of the tourist attractions, so you barely need to drive. We even took the Melaka River Cruise and hopped off at the jetty right in front of the hotel, which was incredibly convenient.

The hotel itself is absolutely Instagram-worthy. Every corner deserves a spot on your camera roll! There are also plenty of food options nearby, making it easy to grab a meal anytime.

The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. One thing that really stood out was the arts & crafts corner for both kids and adults—a thoughtful touch to keep everyone entertained.

Our room met all our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. A special thank you to the team for the beautiful birthday decoration they prepared for my mom. It truly made her day extra special, and we really appreciated the effort.

We genuinely enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Next time, I’d love to book the Family Room! I read so many great reviews saying it’s worth every penny, and that definitely makes me even more excited to return.

I also noticed that the hotel is working on opening a restaurant. Hopefully it’ll be ready by our next visit because I’d love to try the food too!

Definitely coming back again. Highly recommended! ⭐️

Fabulous, will come back again.
Pros:

Great location, kids friendly rooms with slides, very clean bathroom, rest of room is also clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing much. Private Parking is a 3-4 mins walk away from the hotel, but it is safe as a police quarters is just opposite. A swimming pool would be better, heard they are building an extension of the hotel and building a pool also!

Absolutely great location, very nice and helpful staff

No breakfat in-house yet, they have a VR room which is great but its only open limited slots (not sure why) which frustrated the kids
