room is very clean and well lit. room also has all the amenities and comforts that we needed.
the airport pick up service can be better. I wish they could have the driver go inside the airport and pick up from the exit instead of picking up outside the terminal. It can be confusing for someone who's never been to the airport before.
Please do not make booking from here, as the booking number cannot be verified when you check in from reception. Finally I have to ask my parents make a new booking and pay seperately. And right now, no response from customer service (neither the hotel nor booking.com)to process refund request. Very confusing
We were delighted that the hotel offer free shuttle service to the airport.
We were disappointed because despite the shuttle service being offered to us, the hotel did not make prior arrangements to allocate seats based on the number of guests for transport. Although we were the first in line, there was no visible queue and everyone was standing around. The seats were taken on a first-come, first-served basis, which made us very unhappy, especially since I was traveling with 2 kids and 1 elderly person. This should have been taken into consideration during check-in, and prior communication with the driver should have been arranged
I booked an overnight stay here before heading to Dengfeng and found the hotel to be outstandingly clean, spacious and well equipped. I was also very impressed with the professional staff when I checked in.
On my second day, when leaving, I found the staff to be less hospitable and not really willing to assist me given that I was unable to communicate in Chinese. After some effort, one of the staff did help me with booking a Didi to get me where I needed to go, but overall, this highlighted the lack of preparedness for any international customers. The location was also very remote, being about a 15 minute drive from the airport and about an hour out of the city. I think if people are familiar with transport in China, particularly the subways and trains, this would be fine, but if not the distant location, combined with the lack of support for international customers made it difficult to organize transport at this stage of my journey. I hope they will improve on this and maintain the wonderful condition of the hotel.
