Ashane is a very welcoming host and genuinely wants to help regarding local information and arranging transport or food. Still waters has been beautifully designed and is located in a quiet part of Negombo. The place is spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend 👌

Super für Anfang oder Ende der Reise, weil die Unterkunft in der Nähe vom Flughafen ist. Der Gastgeber Ashane war so lieb und nett, wirklich die freundlichste Person auf unserer Reise. Er hat uns viel geholfen und war sehr verständnisvoll, als wir in Sri Lanka gestrandet sind (wegen dem Krieg im Iran). Das Frühstück ist zudem mega lecker, viel und abwechslungsreich. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und nochmals danke, Ashane!

Nice room & facilities, friendly staff & good food

Still waters is definitely a must visit. The place is super peaceful, pretty and the staff is extremely kind, warm and welcoming. This was our first stop in Sri Lanka, and it couldn’t be any better. Also, the breakfast was delicious. Would 100% recommend. Thanks for everything Ashane, we wish you the best!

Highly recommend to stay at still waters artistry. Great location for exploring Negombo, we stayed for 1 night at the end of our trip as only 20 minutes from the airport. The owner is very kind and is on hand to help with anything you need, he gave us some great recommendations of where to go and what to do whilst in Negombo. Room was brilliant, air con, good amenities. You are able to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. We opted for breakfast the next day, traditional Sri Lankan breakfast which was delicious! Best hoppers we had throughout the whole trip!

Excellent stay at still waters! This was our first night in Sri Lanka and Ashane went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were greeted with welcome refreshments and given a free room upgrade. The interior of the house was beautiful and it was very easy to go on a lagoon tour just steps away from the property. This was no doubt one of our best stays in Sri Lanka and we felt very lucky to meet Ashane and experience the still waters hospitality

The hotel is extremely beautiful, very quiet and the host was so nice. Everything was wonderful.

Everything. From the moment I arrived, Ashane welcomed me with such warmth and care. I felt instantly at ease. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The attention to detail is incredible and there is such a calming atmosphere. You can eat delicious food from the comfort of your own balcony if you wish. The boat trip next to the property was one of the highlights of my trip. I am so grateful to have found this place and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Negombo. I cannot wait to return.

Ashane and his family have created the most beautiful and welcoming space. Truly a one of a kind stay! Our flight was delayed and didn’t arrive until after midnight but it was no problem and we were greeted by Ashane on arrival. The breakfast was also so delicious! You have to stay here if you’re in Negombo.

We were so lucky to find this accommodation for our last two days in Sri Lanka. This place is beautiful, thoughtful, and inspiring. You can truly see that the owners put their minds into creating something special. Though what really stands out is the hospitality - the owner is one of the kindest people we met in Sri Lanka. The rooms are beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable as well.

Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft, wir waren vorerst nur eine Nacht aus unserer Rundreise hier und können das Hotel ohne Einschränkung empfehlen. Wirkliche Gastfreundschaft. Das lokale Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Unbelievable service, couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip. The hospitality was the best we’ve ever received. They really do take care of you and make your first night after a long flight easy and relaxing. Ashane was a great guy and really cares about his guests. They also made us an amazing breakfast.
