This was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Absolutely exceptional ! We have paid over double the price for accommodation that didn’t match the incredibly high levels of comfort and hospitality offered at Still Waters. For us it was like an oasis of calm and luxury...a beautiful environment which has been carefully and intelligently designed to reflect the architecture and culture of Sri lanka. Stunning! Our hosts were so generous in terms of their time, what they arranged for us and the little extra touches that they provided. Really can't recommend this hotel enough. We felt like royalty. Thank you so much

This is the equivalent of a lovely boutique hotel in the UK, in terms of quality and comfort of the room. And the host Ashane couldn't have been more helpful. This included his local knowledge and sorting out transport to our next destination.

Beautiful accommodation! And such a sweet host, even gives you a little present when you leave. Had a wonderful and relaxing first night in Sri Lanka!

Ashane is een van de liefste hosts die we ooit hebben ontmoet. Na een lange reis stond hij ons vrolijk op te wachten en bood ons een verfrissend ijsje en handdoekje aan. Alles wat we nodig hadden. De kamer was indrukwekkend mooi en het bed erg fijn. Zou niet misstaan in een 5-sterren hotel. Jammer dat we de volgende ochtend alweer weg moesten. Misschien dat we aan het einde van de reis nog terugkomen.

Zeer betrokken host. Niets is te veel.

lokatie is prima , met tuk tuk ben je overal in een paar minuten voor nog geen euro.
Het was onze laatste overnachting en moesten vroeg op. We werden om 5:30 uitgezwaaid.

Unser Aufenthalt in dieser wunderbaren Unterkunft war etwas ganz Besonderes. Schon beim Betreten spürt man, wieviel Herzblut und Kreativität in jedem Detail steckt.
Neben dem außergewöhnlichen Ambiente sorgen Ashane und Udi für eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre - mit einem herzlichen Empfang, einem leckeren singalesischen Frühstück sowie guten Tipps für Unternehmungen und Weiterreise. Die beiden haben uns einen perfekten Bustransfer nach Sigiriya zu einem sehr guten Preis organisiert.

Mit dem Tuktuk ist man in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum von Negombo, wir sind zu allen Sights gelaufen. Abendessen kann auf Wunsch in einem Restaurant bestellt werden und wird auf feinstem Porzellan im Haus oder auf dem eigenen Balkon serviert.

Es ist ein Ort voller Charme, Kreativität und Persönlichkeit - absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die das Besondere suchen.

Eine Unterkunft, bei der jedes Detail stimmt! Man wird persönlich vom Gastgeber begrüßt, der einem beim Gepäck behilflich ist. Es wird einem direkt ein kühles Tuch sowie ein Getränk bzw. wahnsinnig leckeres selbstgemachtes Mangoeis angeboten. Die Unterkunft selbst ist super stylisch, fast ein wenig orientalisch anmutend. Es riecht überall sehr angenehm, es ist hochwertig eingerichtet und wirkt alles absolut neuwertig. Man hat 2 Küchen zur freien Verfügung. Das Zimmer ist weitläufig, hat einen eigenen Balkon, auf dem man den Tag ausklingen lassen kann. Zum Zimmer gehört ein eigenes Bad mit Regendusche. Ausreden gibt es die Möglichkeit, sein Gefährt (wir hatten ein TukTuk gemietet) sicher auf dem Anwesen abzustellen. Der Gastgeber war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar, hat einen mit Empfehlungen für vor Ort Aktivitäten unterstützt und war insgesamt wahnsinnig freundlich und zuvorkommend.

A fantastic place, more than just a hotel, it’s a truly memorable experience. The interior design is of the highest boutique standard. We received a very warm welcome, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended, we were absolutely delighted.

This hotel was gorgeous, so clean and the host was amazing. We felt so welcome and the owner was really helpful in providing suggestions.

Nous avons passé une nuit exceptionnelle dans ce lieu parfaitement rénové, avec beaucoup de goût, et offrant un confort total. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement attentionnés et aussi très professionnels. L’hôtel est situé dans un lieu très calme, sans être éloigné du centre-ville. Nous recommandons absolument !

Had a comfortable stay in this beautiful house. Lovely owners who were very welcoming. A delicious breakfast was served in the morning. We will choose to stay here again when next in Negombo.

Ashane was a super attentive host. I wasn't feeling very well when we arrived and he offered us tea and even offered to call a doctor. The next morning, he made sure I was feeling better. He was also very helpful, giving us tips about the city.
The breakfast was also very good, an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast.
The hotel is very nicely decorated and everything is beautiful.
I highly recommend it to start or end your trip to Sri Lanka.

Ashane was the perfect host - I cannot recommend Still Waters Artistry enough as a place to stay in Negombo. The rooms are impeccably clean, beautifully designed, spacious and comfortable. Ashane was so helpful and kind - check in and out was seamless and he helped book us an airport transfer very easily. The personal touches at Still Waters on arrival and departure are incredible - so thoughtful. Our stay was very good value for the quality and comfort. 100% recommend staying here!
