Es war alles sehr sauber, wunderschön eingerichtet und wir hatten einen tollen Service. Der Besitzer hat uns einen Fahrer vermittelt, welcher sehr zuverlässig und nett war (der Fahrer war so freundlich, dass er uns am nächsten Tag direkt noch nach sigiriya gefahren hat). Wir sind sehr spät angekommen, da wir in der Nacht gelandet sind. Wir wurden trotzdem sehr freundlich begrüßt, mit einem kleinem Willkomenseis und kalten Handtüchern. Der Besitzer ist wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und angenehmen. Wir können jedem wirklich nur empfehlen in dieser Unterkunft unter zu kommen. Wir werden zu 100% wieder hingehen wenn wir aus colombo zurückfliegen. Nicht zu vergessen, das Frühstück war sehr sehr lecker und umfangreich. Vielen Dank für den tollen Start in unsere Reise!

It’s beautiful

I don’t usually write reviews, but this stay earned one. It was our first night in Sri Lanka and it set the tone for the whole trip. The place is beautiful, spotless and full of character. Ashane, the host, went well beyond what we expected: he talked us through the practical basics of travelling in Sri Lanka, sorted out our transport, and even helped us fix a broken camera charger. Breakfast was excellent. And all of this at a remarkably good price. I can’t recommend it enough.

The building was so beautiful. I was greeted by the owner with a cold towel and a mango ice lolly. He burnt incense next where we were sitting and took some time to ask some questions about my trip. It was just such an amazing welcome. Dream was beautiful, clean and nice and I was given us a photo tour of the hotel. The breakfast was a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and was so delicious. I was given a hand written card and a scrunchie, it was such a kind gesture. I would definitely recommend and go back! Thank you for everything 🙏

Still Waters Artistry is the perfect first stop in Negombo after landing in Sri Lanka, full 5-star rating from me. The villa boasts artistic architecture with tidy and cozy rooms. Host Ashane was incredibly thoughtful and prepared two authentic Sri Lankan breakfasts for us, which tasted absolutely amazing. We lost our way due to navigation issues, and Ashane offered tremendous help, guiding us patiently to the property. He warmly recommended the nearby lagoon boat trip and shared lots of practical local travel tips. The location is convenient, close to the fish market and beach. A few small improvements would make the stay flawless: more clothes hanging racks, better room ventilation, and slippers for bathroom use. Highly recommended for first-time travelers to Sri Lanka!

Nous avons été profondément touchés par la gentillesse et l'accueil exceptionnel que nous ont réservés Ashane et son épouse.
J'ai beaucoup voyagé, mais je n'avais encore jamais été aussi bien accueillie. Tout était absolument parfait : l'hôtel est magnifique, les chambres sont spacieuses, impeccablement propres, calmes et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux.
Le plus marquant restera toutefois l'extrême bienveillance de nos hôtes. Ils nous ont choyés du début à la fin de notre séjour et nous nous sommes sentis comme des membres de leur famille. Une hospitalité rare, que nous n'oublierons jamais.
Enfin, ils nous ont recommandé d'excellents restaurants ainsi qu'un contact pour découvrir Negombo en bateau. Ces recommandations étaient d'une qualité irréprochable.
Un immense merci pour tout. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs merveilleux.

After a long journey to Sri Lanka we got a friendly welcome from Ashane and could go in our room very early to rest a bit. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the typical Sri Lankan breakfast we got. Definitely a hotel I'd recommend!

We booked this accomodation due to its good reviews and were not disappointed. The host is so kind, sweet and thoughtful, the house a real beauty, our room was big, comfortable and modern, and the breakfast plentiful and savory. Granted, the location is not ideal for beach-goers, but driver services are cheap enough that this shouldn't dissuade anybody from giving it a try.

Stunning facilities. Ashane was so lovely and made us feel so welcomed. Really comfortable stay after a long day travel. Look no further when needing somewhere to stay after airport.

Het liefst zouden we een 11 als cijfer geven …. Alles was perfect. De kamer, bedden, badkamer … perfect. De ontvangst en service … perfect. De eigenaar en het personeel deden hun uiterste best. Niets was teveel. Zelden zijn wij zo hartelijk ontvangen.
