The hotel is extremely beautiful, very quiet and the host was so nice. Everything was wonderful.

Everything. From the moment I arrived, Ashane welcomed me with such warmth and care. I felt instantly at ease. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The attention to detail is incredible and there is such a calming atmosphere. You can eat delicious food from the comfort of your own balcony if you wish. The boat trip next to the property was one of the highlights of my trip. I am so grateful to have found this place and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Negombo. I cannot wait to return.

Ashane and his family have created the most beautiful and welcoming space. Truly a one of a kind stay! Our flight was delayed and didn’t arrive until after midnight but it was no problem and we were greeted by Ashane on arrival. The breakfast was also so delicious! You have to stay here if you’re in Negombo.

We were so lucky to find this accommodation for our last two days in Sri Lanka. This place is beautiful, thoughtful, and inspiring. You can truly see that the owners put their minds into creating something special. Though what really stands out is the hospitality - the owner is one of the kindest people we met in Sri Lanka. The rooms are beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable as well.

Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft, wir waren vorerst nur eine Nacht aus unserer Rundreise hier und können das Hotel ohne Einschränkung empfehlen. Wirkliche Gastfreundschaft. Das lokale Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Unbelievable service, couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip. The hospitality was the best we’ve ever received. They really do take care of you and make your first night after a long flight easy and relaxing. Ashane was a great guy and really cares about his guests. They also made us an amazing breakfast.

Uns hat -- ganz ehrlich -- alles gefallen: Die stilvolle Einrichtung, die bequemen Betten, die warme Dusche, das leckere Frühstück ... und vor allem die unübertroffene Herzlichkeit von Ashane, dem Inhaber.

Alles! Die Unterkunft ist so geschmackvoll und modern gestaltet und die Hosts so unglaublich freundlich! Zum Abschied gab es sogar eine handschriftlich verfasste Karte und ein Geschenk!

Zeer mooi plek met een fantastische gastheer. In verband met de geannuleerde vluchten werd onze vakantie onverwachts een aantal dagen verlengd waardoor wij besloten om terug te gaan naar Still Waters Artistry. Wij begonnen onze reis door Sri Lanka op deze prachtige plek, en sloten hem hier ook af. Het is een pareltje in Negombo wat er aan iedereen kunnen aanraden!

Aan alles werd gedacht, ijsje bij aankomst en mogelijkheid om tassen te bewaren. Je kan er ook eten en ashane is heel erg aardig en gastvrij. De kamers zijn perfect en er heerst een fijne sfeer. Heel fijn om je reis te beginnen of eindigen hier

Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich lieb, herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthalts war absolut einwandfrei.
Die Zimmer waren super sauber und sehr gepflegt.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Outstanding customer service at this beautiful place in Negombo. The owner went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was the best possible, even going so far as to gather some curry and pandam leaves from his garden for me to take back with me!
I would 100% recommend a stay here and wish him all the very best in his new business.

Unglaublich netter Host, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Super sauber, architektonisch tolle Einrichtung, vom Eigentümer liebevoll bis ins kleinste Detail gestaltet.
Besser hätte die letzte Unterkunft vor Abflug nicht sein können. Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir auf unserer Reise hatte. Weiterempfehlung 100 Prozent.

This was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Absolutely exceptional ! We have paid over double the price for accommodation that didn’t match the incredibly high levels of comfort and hospitality offered at Still Waters. For us it was like an oasis of calm and luxury...a beautiful environment which has been carefully and intelligently designed to reflect the architecture and culture of Sri lanka. Stunning! Our hosts were so generous in terms of their time, what they arranged for us and the little extra touches that they provided. Really can't recommend this hotel enough. We felt like royalty. Thank you so much
