The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. They were very flexible and always kindly stored our food in the hotel's refrigerator when we asked. The location was excellent – everything in the city center was within about a 10-minute walk, including supermarkets, restaurants, and several parking garages.
It felt like the hotel tried to minimize costs wherever possible. The breakfast was of very low quality and the ingredients felt very cheap. The bathroom layout was also poorly designed – the toilet was positioned in a way that made it difficult to fully open the bathroom door. In addition, some of the towels and bed linen had visible stains, which I did not find acceptable.

O alojamento tem uma boa localização
O alojamento tem falta de limpeza gravíssima, mudei de quarto 3 vezes e dessas 3 vezes tinha condições deploráveis com a companhia de insetos rastejantes e aracnídeos.
Menciono também o facto de os lençóis e fronhas de almofadas estarem cheias de borboto , sinal que não era limpo e/ou mudando à meses .
L'emplacement dans Funchal: très bien placé. Le personnel très sympathique et toujours à notre disposition pour tous renseignements. La qualité des lits. Nous avions deux lits séparés: très confortable. Pas eu à me plaindre du dos malgré mes douleurs. Egalement, situé juste à côté à droite leur restaurant le soir et pour le midi, en sortant à gauche: le resto buffet.
Franchement, après avoir lu les critiques, nous avons quand même suivi notre idée et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Tout le personnel a été très sympa. Rien à redire.

Location proximity to the heart of town
After 4 days and not one change of bath towels nor even a cheap box of tissues in the room. Bath towels were size of large hand towels and appearance of years old and fraying on edges coupled with not even matching. Leading up to a summer period not even a small refrigerator to maintain drinks cold. Staff overseeing breakfast lacked interaction skills with patrons with not even a good morning.
Buffet breakfast was bland with very view choices.
Bathroom shower head not suitable for size of actual shower.Definitely not value for money
The staff will help and advise, always smiling. There was a little problem that I told them about but they solved it. On the minuses, they didn't warn me that they would clean while I was gone but everything was in place so it's not such a big problem but still it's better to warn
The staff was really good and helpful, whenever I asked for something specific e.g. hot water for night tea, they gave it to me under 5 minutes with a smile on their face. Super positioning though, the only time I needed to use any transport method was when I went to Pico de Areeiro, everything else was close enough.
The room's wc could've used a bidet or something else to help, toilet paper is not enough. The breakfast was alright, could've been better for the price I paid. The view in the terrace was very cool, but a little disappointing knowing that the hotel in front of you has a pool and looks a little better.
