While showering you flood the bathroom because there is no shower curtain or stopper on the floor for the water - there are enough towels to lay on the floor to dry it fast - so it wasn't really a problem

Was disappointed with the finish of my room, with broken trim and stained mats. Weird shower design caused bathroom to completely flood. It’s hard for locals to understand British English, which I found a barrier to communication.
In a quiet part of Negombo. The seaside rooms on floors three and up have an excellent view of sunset. The street side rooms are a bit noisy, but not overly so. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We had booked a seaside room for three nights. When we arrived, we were told there were no seaside rooms until the next day. Maintenance could be better: doors won’t close or stick, safes are not checked when the room is prepped so they’re either locked and/or the batteries are dead.
As per breakfast, the toast was very cold. We saw that they were stacked up long before any one came down for breakfast. Coffee :-(
Reception and greeting was good
The towels/bed linen and room cleanliness needed attention. Shower water didn’t drain so bathroom very wet for hours and theSafe was broken. Cockroach on the landing.

I like the location, central on beach road , also Sanka and the staff are very very helpful , special mention for him as he is exceptional
Close to fisherman village and bars so it was a bit noisy

we had cockroach in the bathroom. our room was situated to the main street and it was really noisy, we couldnt sleep well
